"Dinner!" My mom yells at me and my siblings one evening in August. I race my brother inside to get my favorite seat at the table, before he does. As we eat we talk about the usual Myers Family stuff. We joke about starting our own business in drug dealing, weird restaurant ideas and how all of us siblings should forget the idea of educating and getting a job and just marry some rich old people. Like Melania did with Donald Trump. When I've finished eating I realize that I am way too late to meet my friends.
My group of friends contains 7 girls, including me, but recently two boys in our class started to take interest in our group and joined. Then the group kept growing because the guys kept adding their friends to it and then eventually, their friends added their friends to it.
I rush to brush my teeth, put on my shoes and go to meet them by our school. When I'm there, I see Ellie, Beth, Dorrit, Jenna and Ashley sitting in the swings. Charlotte isn't there yet. When She arrives, I tend to ask the girls where we should go and what we should do.
But then I suddenly remember that the guys were also coming because I see them appear by the corner of the school on their scooters. "Ryan - Tyler - Alex - Brian - Leo - ..." I whisper to myself. "Hey guys, where's David?" I ask the girls. "Uhm I don't know actually.... oh wait, there he is!" Beth says, nodding in his direction.
When I look over at him I see two boys following him. The first thought I get is "oh wow those boys are actually quite decent. And tall."
The girls went to them and introduced themselves, while I stared at them for a while like they were some foreign creatures, that nobody had ever seen before.
Finally I go and introduce myself. The foreign creatures are called Zach and Jace. I really feel like Zach and I have a lot in common, but not so much with Jace. Jace doesn't really talk much, but I can really feel him stare at me a lot.
He must be nice though. He's definitely not bad. None of them are.

Or so I thought.
