Many people have a definitive taste in pizza. Some prefer the traditional round pie, while others strongly prefer the square Sicilian style. Even though they are essentially made up of the same ingredients - dough, sauce, cheese, toppings, and spices - someone with a strong preference will travel out of their way to find what they want because of the thickness, the shape, or some other nuance. Similarly in life, sometimes we’re seeing someone's choice as sort of ridiculous since the options are very similar. But to that person, there is a difference. Just learn to respect someone’s choice.
