Markas' POV
"I began and now I am." John said walking in front of me.
I could feel Shelf flare next too me. As I scooted away from his heat further John continued. "There could be a war. If I want to continue to operate as the largest, most powerful, most rich, and most advanced Galaxy within the Phonues I cannot allow you to be at war."
"Get on with it." Shelf hissed.
John looked at him and got very close before looking him in the face. "I like you, Shelf. So I have decided not too destroy either of you. Instead," his voiced raised with a curious happiness " I've decided to send you both too therapy!"
"What?" I asked bewildered.
Shelf, I could feel, was close too an outrage. John belted a massive guffaw and snickered. Shelf began too shout as John laughed.
There have been thousands upon thousands of years of war between our people and yet John feels this is appropriate?
"John, I have spent most of my reign as ruler of the Moon empire running from my duties and emperor. I would like too say that I have no objections too what you are suggesting. I'm not sure what you are suggesting anyway. But I must say that I think this will not work out the way you might think it would."
John stopped and Shelf receded as I spoke.
"I know all too well the events that took place after your wife died Markas. But as the Moon and Sun gods you have too make some difficult decisions," John grabbed our hands and brought us too a small metal box outside the boundaries of both empires but overlooking the seas of red and blue that made up our clashing empires "so you will raise a planet together here. You must meet a minimum of three of seven earth days. Otherwise I will suspend the production of anything in your empires and both of you and your people will starve. If that happens I'll have no choice but to relieve you of your power and appoint someone new to the throne. We wouldn't want that now would we?"
"When does this hell begin?" Shelf smirked.
"Now." With that John disappeared.
Shelf and I stood in silence for a few long moments before anyone spoke. So I decided too look around. There were three doors from where I stood that hadn't been opened. Too my left was a restroom and too the right was a lounge. I walked too the door in front of me and took a look. There was a creation table in the center of the room. That would be what our planet would be raised on.
I pressed the power button and watched the creation of life. "It's beautiful." Shelf said
"Agh!" I yelled falling out of my seat "Christ, Shelf. Don't scare me like that."
"Don't be so easily frightened." Shelf said sitting across from me.
I sighed. "So this is our world?" He asked.
"Mhm. Should we name it?" I was so excited to have a world all too myself.
"You name it. I don't care." Shelf said.
"Erd." I laughed.
"I can't say I think that's the coolest name you could've chosen but okay." Shelf sighed.
"You said you didn't care, Shelf." I laughed.
"I don't. However I think it should be cooler. That's just my thought Markas." Shelf glared at me.
I laughed a little and thought. "There sure is a lot of green." Shelf remarked "it's almost halfway solid earth. How interesting."
"Then let's call it the Green. A nice English name." I smiled.
"Alright, the Green it is." Shelf said.
Shelf seemed calmed. A million more times calm then I have ever seen him before. "Christ, stop staring you cratered dummy." Shelf yelled getting up and leaving the room.
I laughed "War is not an option."
