Chapter 14: First Dance

"Aww. Bakit?!'' Ate Chanel asked.

"Because.. you drive me crazy?"Kuya Khalil smiled. They both laughed.

"I love you " He kissed her nose and lips gently.

"I love you more.''

I silently locked the door. My heart skipped a beat. How sweet of Kuya Khalil, I hope I can find a man same like him. But why I'm feeling a bit uneasy. I can't explain.

"Yanna!!"

Bam! Bam! Bam! Ugh, she'll break the door.

''Okay, Ate! I'm getting out.''I said.

I stepped out. Ate Chanel smiled to me. I carefully stepped my foot down the stairs. Chanel played a ballroom song on her phone. Funny. Kuya Khalil was waiting for me by the end, oh I was so shy and I can feel my cheeks heat up. It was a night of fairytale like most princesses arriving and waited by their princes. He flashed his pearly whites, his adoring eyes, his full handsomeness waiting to escort me out. By the end of my step, he took my hand and motioned me to turn around like dancing in a ball.

I'm so fully bloomed. I turned around and my long black gown shapes a circle growing. I haven't felt this way before.  Oh maybe I'm attracted to his gentleness or maybe no boys have ever let me feel this way.

We danced a 'lil bit. I was a kinda shy when he placed his hand at my waist. Ugh. Baby fats .But he only smiled with that and I placed my hand on his shoulder and the other one holding his hand. I smiled too. Scenes slow-motioned. Magical.

This is one of my greatest dreams. More like a fairytale dancing with a very handsome prince while the orchestra is playing one romantic song.

And after the last turn around, he knelt in front of me. My eyes rolled around when he kissed my hand and said,

"Shall we go now, my princess?"Kuya Khalil looking at me. Oh, I'm speechless, 2 seconds.. 4 seconds.. 5? I only nodded because of great embarrassment. I can feel my cheeks burning hot. A light flashed.

"Whoaaah. Picture perfect. Nainggit naman ako sa inyo.''Ate Chanel went downstairs teasing us. She took photos of us.

"Stay away from me, I swap you to Yanna."Khalil kidding Ate Chanel. Nahiya naman ako, naka-hook kasi yung arm ko sa arm nya habang nagbibiruan sila.

"Sa'yo na siya basta iuwi mo ng buong buo yan ha!'' Ate Chanel said.

"Bye Ate! Thank you for everything." I bid goodbye and kissed her.

"Iuuwi ko na'to sa'min!" Kuya Khalil teased her. She frowned. Looks like pissed off na. Cute couple.

"So what's that for,''Kuya Khalil said, referring to her grumpy face. Nakahawak siya sa magkabilang waist ni Ate.

"I hate you!'' pinitik ni Ate yung tip ng nose ni Kuya Khalil.

"I'll take her back to you safe and sound. Promise.'' He cupped her face.

Tumalikod nako, I know it's followed by a kiss then. I won't deny, naiinggit ako sa relationship nila Ate. They're very cute together. He's kind, sweet, loving, witty, handsome, what more can you ask for?

Pinagdrive niya ko sa school, we talked about everything. Masarap pala siyang kausap may sense, nakakatuwa pa, nahihiya kasi ako kaya aloof ako before sa kanya. Feel ko tuloy ang tagal na naming magkakilala.
