TWICE UPON A STORY

Chapter 1

I woke up to the Powerless by Linkin Park. One of my favorite songs. It's funny how it perfectly describes my life. I checked the clock and it was 7 in the morning I had to wake up before, my stepmom and my stepsisters did. I quickly got up from my comfortable bed and made my way into the bathroom. Selina, my stepsister, was right I am ugly. Even when my friends tell me that I'm pretty I can't help but think that Selina's about me being ugly. With my Raven black hair natural red lips and big icy blue eyes. I am ugly. I'm also in between tan and olive.

After being in the bathroom I headed towards the kitchen to start breakfast.

"CINDERELLA!!! Get over here!" Darcy yelled. In case you didn't know Darcy's my stepmom.

"Yes Darcy?" I asked sweetly. When I entered her bedroom.

"Young lady don't give me that sass," she quickly accused.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to give you any type of sass Darcy." I said almost robotically.

"Whatever. Remember that tomorrow we're moving to North California and also remember to stay away from my daughters. They don't need someone like you to ruin their reputation. Understood?" She replied icily.

"Yes madam." I answered.

.........time skip to when she gets to school.........

As soon as I got to school I was engulfed in a hug by my best friend and only friend. Since Selina spreads awful rumors about me I couldn't make friends and Zander was the only one who really wanted to talk to me.

"Zander your squishing the air out of my lungs." I said breathlessly.

"Oh sorry it's just that from today on I won't see you anymore" Zander replied.

Zander your typical popular guy except for the fact that he's my best friend.

He's been my best friend for as long as I can remember and I used to have a crush on him. I can't stand to lose him as a friend.

After school was over we went to the front of my since step-mother doesn't like me having friends I said my final good byes and he left he was crying and I was heartbroken just looking at him. And then he dis something I never thought he would do he kissed me on the lips and I could clearly taste his salty tears. After a moment I started crying and I kissed back. The kiss ended and whispered a heartbroken 'I LOVE YOU' I couldn't help but cry for this was the last time I would hear. He quickly turned around and left me there crying I knew that if he didn't leave he would personally walk into the house pack my things and make me move into his house. And I wouldn't want that because than Darcy would say that he kidnapped me and than she would sue him. I quickly went to my house and packed my things.
