Marinette' POV

I am on my way to school, it is early spring and it was sunny. Alya wasn't going to be at school today because her little siblings were sick. I heard the bell ring for I was late (as usual) so it quickly tried to bolt up the stairs and into class. That didn't go as planned. Instead I collided with my blond haired classmate, Adrien.

"Woah!" He said as he caught me right before I face planted.

"Are you ok?" Adrien asked.

"J-just f-fine!" I stammered.

"Where's Alya?" He asked.

"Her siblings are sick, so she's taking the day off." I said without stuttering surprisingly.

"Nino's away on vacation, the lucky guy. I guess we're both alone today." He said with a smile.

"Oh no, class started! We need to go!" I quickly said.

We both ran inside and took our seats.

"Adrikins!" Chloe said running over.
"That Nino guy isn't here so I'm going to sit with you!"

"H-ha ha ha" Adrien awkwardly said turning towards me.

"Hey Marinette, how about I sit with you today? You know because Alya's not here." He said worryingly.

"Oh yeah, sure Adrien." Now we were both acting awkward.

I knew Adrien would not want to sit with Chloe, so I did him a solid. We both went to sit down and ended up bumping into each other. We both quickly fixed our mistake.

Chloe growled and sat back down.

I can't believe it! I'm sitting beside Adrien Agreste!

Adrien's POV

Oh my gosh I am so glad I got away from Chloe. I do not feel like I want to get in that kind of situation today.

I turned around to see Marinette as red as a tomato.

"Are you ok?" I asked her.

"Oh m-me? Oh yeah I'm f-f-fine!" She said quickly and then berried her head in her textbook.

There was a loud bang that came from outside the school. It was an akuma attack! Everyone was informed to go home immediately

I ran around the corner and transformed.

"Plagg, Claws Out!"

Marinette's POV

I ran into the bakery, Tikki flew out of my pocket.

"Akuma attacks happen a lot now." She said with exhaustion.

"I know Tikki, it's making me get less sleep and that means I fail in school." I agreed. "Better go take care of it."
"Tikki, Spots On!"

I jump on top of a building to see chat sitting there.

"Good day m'lady." He says as he kisses my hand.

I pull away. "We need to fight the akuma." I said.

"They are so common now." He says with a sigh. "Aren't you getting tired?" He asked.

"Yes but, that's not stopping me." I said proudly.

"That's why I love ya." He said with a wink.

We go off and fight the akuma.

Adrien's POV

This akuma is pretty strong, I'm having trouble keeping it busy while ladybug comes up with a plan.

Once ladybug tells me her plan we try it out.

She wasn't really as strong as she used to be, she was overtired.

She messes up her steps and trips over her own feet.

The akumatized victims arm comes flying at her and I'm to far away to stop it.

"Ladybug!" I shout to try and get her to move.

It almost came crashing down on her but then a grey figure stops it in its path.
