The Return (On-Going)

CHAPTER 2

"No, I am letting you now to do what you want." I answered that made him smiled more.

"Thank you!"

"Are you ready now?" I asked Liam when I saw him, packing his things.

"Of course!"

"Then, mother, we will go now." Paalam ko sa aming ina na kasalukuyan na umiiyak ngayon. Nilapitan niya si Liam at muling niyakap ito nang mahigpit.

"Take care, my Liam. I will pray for you to become a magic user." She said after she hugged him.

"Oh thank you, mother! Take care also! Sister will be with you! I promise that I will back and protect you two." Liam replied while smiling happily. I looked away because some thoughts came to my mind and hoping it will not happen.

"Bye, mother!" Sigaw ni Liam nang makasakay kami ng kalesa. Tuluyan na nawala na sa paningin namin ang aming ina. Namuo ang katahimikan sa amin ni Liam habang nabiyahe kami ngunit pinutol niya din ito.

"Aren't you sad?" I looked at him when I heard his question to me. "I know you are sad, you can cry." He teased me.

"I will not cry because my stubborn brother will be gone for years." I replied and smirked at him. He rolled his eyes in irritation that made me chuckled.

"But the truth is I am scared." Liam said while looking at the outside. "I don't know if I will see our mother again and I don't know if I will come back again." He added in a sad tone.

"You want this, right? You decided this thing so trust yourself. You need to trust your self that you will become a strong magic user so you can survive and come back here again." I looked away from him when he looked at me. "I trust you, Liam, that's why I let you go so don't break my trust."

"Okay I will not let you down. I promise I will come back and be a magic user." Nakangiting sabi sa akin ni Liam na nagpangiti naman sa akin.

We are currently travelling to Celestians Academy and I know this day is the last day that I will see him again. I will see him again probably after five years and I hope he will come back.

Time went by, town to city is really a long travel especially our transportation is only a carriage. Bago kami makarating sa lungsod ay madadaanan namin ang academy sa gitna ng gubat.

"Finally we are here." Masayang sabi ni Liam nang makarating kami sa lugar na pupuntahan namin.

Malaking gate ngayon ang nasa harap namin at itong paaralan na ito ay nasa gitna ng gubat kaya hindi agad ito makikita. Pinasalamatan ko ang lalaki na nagdala sa amin dito sa academy at sinabihan na hintayin ako na makalabas, dahil ihahatid ko lang ang kapatid ko sa loob.

Pumasok na kami ni Liam sa loob at malaking daan ang sumalubong sa amin. Sinundan lang namin ito hanggang sa may nakasalubong kaming dalawang lalaki na tila nagbabantay dito sa lugar na ito.

"Sino kayo? What are you doing here?" Seryosong tanong ng isang lalaki sa amin nang makita kami.

"I will enroll here in the academy." Liam answered.
