Emily's POV

"This is the stage you will be dancing on. This is your second home now." I told the dancers was we walked on the Nationals stage. The dancers 'ooed' and 'awwed' at the large auditorium in front of them. The day had finally come, the first day of Nationals. All the teams were checking in right now, which is what Riley was nice enough to do for us, while we looked around. The last time I was on this stage, it was my demise. I hurt my knee and couldn't dance again. We still won Nationals that year though, and we're gonna do the same this year as well, I know it. "Alright everyone, you have a few hours to settle in before the competition starts. Noah's solo is at 2, so I expect everyone to be here for it. Until then you can do whatever you want." I announced. Everyone nodded, dispersing among the stage.

Noah's POV

"Are you ready for your solo?" Richelle asked me as we walked down the halls of the building where Nationals was being held.
"Yeah." I responded, nodding. I've been working on this for 6 months at least, I'm ready for it to be seen.
"Do you think we'll have to use our duet at all?" Richelle questioned again, playing with her hands.
"I don't know. I kinda hope so, it's a really good dance." I explained. She nodded.
"Do you think we could've done something better? Is our storyline overdone?" She inquired.
"I think it's perfect." I stated. "What's with all the questions? What's up?" I asked her this time.
"I guess I'm just avoiding what I really want to talk about." She admitted, looking at the ground.
"Which is?" I questioned, staring at her with raised eyebrows.
"Us." She told me quietly. I stopped, walking, my brows furrowing in confusion.
"Us?" I asked, confused. Richelle nodded.
"We've kissed multiple times, we've been on a date, we act like we're dating, but we've never actually talked about if we want to be or not." She explained to me, finally meeting my eyes. I smiled at her, knowing what I wanted. I stepped in front of her, getting down on one knee.
"Richelle, will you make me the happiest guy here and be my girlfriend?" I asked cheesily, earning a smile and giggle from her.
"Well I expected a bigger ring, I'm scared I'll lose something so microscopic, but I guess so." She joked, both of us laughing. I stood up, grabbing her hand as we continued walking along the hallway, making more small talk about the competition.

Riley's POV

My phone began to ring for the fifth time as I ran to an empty hallway. I couldn't have anyone seeing me talk to him, they'd become too suspicious. We supposedly only talk about rehearsal schedules when we occasionally bump into each other at the studio, I'm not supposed to have him as my favourite contact on my phone. I finally found a completely empty hallway, far from anyone else. I pulled my phone out of my pocket, answering on the last ring. "Hello?" I inquired, confused as to why James was calling me 5 times in a row.
"Why weren't you answering?! You were giving me a heart attack!" James exclaimed, causing me to worry. James only ever gets mad or upset if something seriously bad has happened.
"I'm sorry, okay? I was in an area with a lot of noise and people. I went to some place quieter before answering." I explained to him softly. "But what's wrong with you? Why are you upset?" I asked, worried about him.
"I accidentally did something pretty bad." He admitted sheepishly.
"What happened?" I inquired.
"I may have told someone it was our baby."

Guys I need a relationship from season 4 for one of the next chapters of this book. Any relationship that I haven't used in this book already, it doesn't have to actually exist. Thanks and I hope you enjoyed!
