For anyone who reads 'The Little Secret', I'm working slowly on updates for it. I've been busy lately, but I'm trying my hardest. There should be a new update soon, definitely by Friday. Now, in regards to this chapter, I hope you enjoy. No Ralfie in this chapter.

Emily's POV

Riley walked out of the office, joining me in front of A troupe. I cleared my throat, and they all quieted down, looking over to us. "Alright, we're gonna run through both dances at least twice, then we'll start cleaning." I announced.
"Before we begin though." Riley added in, making sure she got heard before everyone's attention drifted. "I've only just been informed we need a tie breaker duet, like at Internationals. I've chosen 2 strong dancers that styles compliment each other beautifully, Noah and Richelle."

Richelle's POV

I furrowed my brow as I exchanged a glance with Jake. The other members of A troupe applauded politely, but I felt a rage fill me. Yes, I'm happy I have another dance to showcase me, it's not a surprise though, I am Emily and Riley's younger sister, but with Noah? Noah and I hate each other, why are we working together? Why aren't I working with Jake, you know, my boyfriend. But no, I'll work with this idiot instead. Let's hope we don't need this dance. "Richelle and Noah, I want the two of you to go to the music room to start working on your duet, I'll follow shortly, the rest of you, let's run through these dances." Riley finished. Rolling my eyes, I headed out, letting Noah follow behind. I walked to the music room, before sitting on the floor and starting to stretch some more. Noah entered slowly, and sat beside me. We sat in an awkward silence for a minute, before he spoke.
"What song do you think we should use?" He asked. I shrugged.
"I don't know." I mumbled.
"Well, do you have a concept idea?" He questioned.
"Don't know." I yet again mumbled.
"Are you actually going to help or are you going to let the team lose?!" Noah suddenly snapped, sounding far beyond a little annoyed.
"I'm going to help but-" I started, but got cut off by Riley entering. Noah doesn't know how lucky he is.
"Alright guys, let's work on this." She said, but something seemed off. She seemed to be thinking about more than this dance, or Nationals. "What's our storyline?" Before I could open my mouth, Noah was already spewing out lies.
"We've already decided an Alice in Wonderland theme, two lovers trapped in Wonderland, trying to make it past all the obstacles without destroying their relationship." He said. That got Riley's attention, and her focus turned entirely on us.
"That sounds like it could make for a winning duet. How did you come up with something so creative in such little time?" She wondered.
"Guess we just work well together." Noah shrugged. Riley smiled, as I shot him a look. We never agreed on that storyline. It is interesting though, not that I'd tell him that.
"We even know the song." I added, wanting to sound useful. Riley raised her eyebrows in a curious manner, whereas Noah raised his in a confused sort of way. "Wonderland by Taylor Swift."
"That definitely is a good song to use. Good job guys, I guess I'll leave you to it." Riley said, turning to leave. She stopped however, turning to look at us again. "One more thing. I want to see a lift in your dance." She finished, before walking back to studio A.
"We never agreed on that song." Noah said, sounding annoyed once again.
"We never agreed on that storyline either. Now let's get to work, this stupid lift will take us a year." I grumbled, thinking of the lack of trust in this relationship.
