Violet POV
I wake up in our bed , Xander lays asleep on top of the covers next to me . Rubbing my stomach , I close my eyes rubbing them slightly .

He whispers " morning Vi " I smile burying my face into his chest kissing it . Xander smiles leaving a kiss on my forehead , his hands rub against my stomach .

I whisper " morning " stretching my arms , he chuckles leaving kisses on my stomach . Xander whispers " morning to you too " I chuckle getting up from the bed .

His arms wrap around my waist , he says " no back in bed pleaseee " I huff say " fineee " sitting down on his lap . Xander kisses my neck before burying his face into it .

There's a knock at the door down stairs , he puts me on the bed rushing down the stairs . I get up going to the window , Xander yells " Vi! Run!" coughing slightly .

I gasp before rushing into the wardrobe, shutting the door behind me I hold onto it . Footsteps come up the stairs , I hold onto my bump rubbing it slightly .

Xander grunts as someone punches him , my father stands above him dragging my mate everywhere . A gasp escapes my mouth , my father chuckles says " come out & i won't hurt him anymore then I have ."

My hand trembles against the handle , opening the door my father looks straight at me . He laughs says " such a child as always guess you weren't as smart as your mother " I look at him in disgust .

His hand wraps around my hair , letting out a whimper I get up from the floor of the wardrobe . My father smirks whilst Xander groans in pain unable to move.

My hand falls onto my bump instantly , protecting the pup . Xander looks at me before growling at my father , he kicks my mate in the stomach .

Blood covers his hand as he pulls it from his stomach , I let out a cry say " let me help him & I'll go with you he shouldn't die because of me please ."

My father throws me so I hit the ground landing on my knees . He huffs says " fine help him & then your coming with me " Xander shakes his head says " no o Vi i ."

I say " shh it's okay I'll stop the pain " getting up to go to the bathroom for a first aid kit , Xander soaks the carpet with his blood . My knees bruise from being shoved by my father but Xander puts his hands on them rubbing it .

Tears rise in my eyes , I pull up his shirt noticing the cuts . Putting cream on them , it starts to heal so I help put bandages on him as well .

Xander kisses my knees , I whisper " it's gonna be okay I love you " he nods unable to move still . My father says " get up whore we need to go now " I let out sobs before he grabs my hair again .

Forced to get off the floor , Xander lets go of my hands whilst tears roll down his cheeks . Whimpers leave his mouth , I mouth ' it's okay your find me ' he shakes his head .

My legs give in , I struggle to stay on my feet whilst my father pulls me by my hair down the stairs . Shoving my father I get near the edge , jumping down but landing on a sofa .

Gasps escape my lips , but Xander rushes from the bed room down the stairs before my father can grab him . My father hits the wall knocking him out , Xander wraps his arms around me whilst checking for any wounds .

I cry " I'm okay " he buries his face into my neck letting out a sigh in relief .

Xander POV
I hear Violet gasp down stairs , rushing past her father I go straight to her . She actually jumped the stairs , my arms instantly wrap around her .

Violet cries " I'm okay " I bury my face into her neck letting out a sigh of relief . Her father lays knocked out on the stairs , Daisy comes into the house .

She gasps in shock rushing over to us , Daisy asks " oh my god! Are you okay?" looking for a wound on Violet . I nod reassuring her it's okay , tears stream down my mate's cheeks .

Hunter comes forward whispers " shh Vi it's okay I promise " Daisy says " Alpha she needs the baby to be checked " I nod . Helping my mate stand on her feet , we walk to the pack ward .

Daisy says " in there & Vi remember you can talk to me any time " making my stomach drop slightly . Violet nods walking into the doctor's office with me , I sit her down onto the bed .

The doctor walks in says " hey okay Luna we are gonna check the baby is okay " Violet nods still in shock slightly . I sit on the bed holding her hand , tears of worry stream down her cheeks .

After spreading gel onto her stomach , the machine shows a clear photo of our pup . The pup is blowing bubbles , perfectly fine right?

As my nerves build up , the doctor smiles says " nothing to worry about the pup is healthy just no jumping the stairs you gave the pup a scare ."

I sigh in relief rubbing my thumb on the back of her hand , the doctor leaves us alone in her office . Violet wipes the gel off , sitting up next to me .

She wipes her tears leaning against my shoulder , I whisper " shhh go sleep I'll clean up everything ." Violet nods giving in , scooping her into my arms I walk back to the house .

Violet'a father is being taken care of in the cells , putting my mate onto the sofa I grab a blanket & pillow for her . After making sure she's okay , I go tidy up the mess .

The blood I'll clean up later on , Violet needs rest right now & I need her to be okay .

Things were fine & now it's not ......
