Liam Payne Love Story (One Direction fanfic)

Chapter 1

Liam's POV

Today it was a nice day and we finally had a day off from working all day so I decided to go on a jog. I ran for about 30 min and I decided it would be a good idea to get some water and sit down for a bit. So I went into a corner store and bought a bottle of water. I went to the counter and the teenage cashier was just looking at me. I'm guessing she has been doing this ever since I got into the store. I asked her if I could pay, but she just gawked at me. She wouldn't move so I tapped her on the shoulder, and she realized what she had been doing.

All she could say was "That will be... Umm... Free?” I looked at her and handed her .95p. I herd her mumble a little thank you and I just left.

When I finally found a place to sit and rest for a little, a girl around the age of 17, with long brown beautiful hair, a magnificent figure, and warm brown eyes sat beside me and just started to sketch.

After about a minute of awkward silence I realized what she was sketching, she had be sketching my face! I asked her if I could see and all she could do was let out a little giggle and wrap a piece of hair around her left ear.

When she did that I realized that she had a tiny tattoo on her neck. It was some sort of symbol, but I wasn't going to ask her about it. I asked her again if I could see, this time she responded with a huge smirk. I had to know what she was drawing so I scooted closer to her on the bench. I felt her tense a little, but then calm down as I put my hand on he shoulder.

“Are you really gonna be this close to me while your sweating like a pig?” She said.

I forgot that I just ran three miles... So all I answered with was a shrug and a smirk. I didn't realize it, but after that I realized that I had been just plain staring at her for 10 minutes.

She just sighed and got up. She started to leave when I grabbed her hand and made her look at me. All she did was gulp and look into my eyes. They were more brown then I realized, she was beautiful.

She apparently noticed me staring and asked "So what do you need me for? I have to go to class."

I forgot what I wanted to ask, so I just let go of her arm. And then after she was almost in a building I realized what I wanted to ask, so I ran up to her.

It didn't seem like such a long run when I was looking at her, but when I ran it seemed to go forever. I thought I almost lost her until I saw her inside talking to another girl. I walked up to her and she just sighed.

“I remember what I wanted to say.“ I said, waiting for her to just walk away. But she said bye to her friend and looked at me. When I realized she was waiting for me to ask.

"Um, can I-I see what you d-drew?" I stammered, looking pathetic.

"Well meet me at Starbucks at 5:00 and I'll show you." she said with a smirk on her face.

I just nodded and waited for her to go.

Once she left I saw the time it was 3:00 I should probably get going, I thought to myself.

So I started to jog back to my flat.

Half way there I realized what just happened, I got asked out on a date without even realizing it.
