Streetlights gloom as blossoms grow,
How I wished I could see the light
And see the beauty that hides within.
The shadows are so dark and gloomy,
Always walking around helplessly
So alone.
The darkness doesn't bring the monsters out,
People do.
Every person is a living monster,
Some nice, some friendly, and some who can ruin your dreams.
People are just monsters in disguise.
Feeding on peoples emotions to make them feel high
Monsters have emotions too,
Cry, laugh, smile, lash out
We all see monsters differently.
Maybe we tend to ignore them because we think they are scary,
Unloved, dark, nightmare-fuel creatures,
But every person has a different story,
A different past.
Just like fairytale monsters,
Who may have two arms, three, or ten,
We shouldn't judge them for their looks,
We shouldn't judge them for the way they act,
The way they treat us,
The way they can humiliate or scare us,
We need to find the true meaning of their pain.
Their personal story that shows the
Guilt,
Hatred,
Anger in themselves.
We need to find the real reason to help them find happiness,
Find love again,
Find hope,
Find joy.
