I watch the rain slide down the windows. I listen to the sound it makes. It helps me feel less sad, cause even the sky cries too. I hear the thunder sound and watch the lightning form craters in the earth as it strikes down. It reminds me that even the sky screams and destroys itself too. It brings a comforting feeling in a twisted way. It settles my anxiety and brings my swirling thoughts to a halt. And finally, looking at the sky, swirling and gray. I sleep a peaceful sleep that is long overdue.
