Taming The Cold Hearted

Chapter 28

Masasabi ko naman na kahit papaano okey na sila Zeus at Lee. But there still a gap between them. Sila na lang siguro ang makaka tulong sa sarili nila para mag kaayos.

I did my part. But if there's still something I can help. Im willing to help them.

"Kailan daw uuwi sila Tita Ayen?" I ask zeus.

Nasa garden kami ng university ngayon kung saan maraming puno. Break namin ng 1 hour ni Zeus.

Naka higa ito sa lap ko at naka pikit.
Sobrang lalim ng eyebags nya.

"Maybe next week" maikling sagot nito.

"Aw. I miss Zayne and the three little cutties"

Ang cucute kasi ng mga kapatid ni Zeus. Paiba iba ng ugali e. Di ko alam kung kay tita ayen ba nag mana or kay tito Zeke.

Oh baka kay Zeus.

"Hm. Zeus?"

"Yes?" matamlay nitong sagot.

"Bakit parang pagod na pagod ka ata? Ang tamlay mo din"

Hinawakan ko ang mukha nya at hinaplos.

"I cant sleep well this past few days because of you" pagbibiro nito.

I pout my lips "Because of me or because of Lee? Why dont you talk to him?"

Biglang bumukas ang mga mata nito at tumingin saakin.

"I guess you're dying to know what really happends between us" natatawang pahayag nito.

"Im just curious" pag papabebe ko pa.

Hinawakan ni Zeus ang kamay ko at pumikit ulit.

"When we're teenagers we always go to club or do somethings stupid. Like getting a fight with a group of gangster. Sabay sabay kaming lumaki. Caleb, Ryle, Dave, Lee, Me and Jireh  ..." tumigil ito sa pagkukwento at napa higpit ang hawak sa kamay ko.

"Jireh?" nalilitong tanong ko.

"We're known to be the PLAY6 back when we're in highschool. We treat each other as brothers. Hindi kami mapag hiwalay ng mga yan kahit saan kami mag punta. But something terrible happend. Nasangkot kami sa isang away na dahilan ng pagkawatak watak namin. Because of Lee we lost Jireh. He's a total jerk for leaving Jireh behind to save his life! Like what the fck! We're buddies! How can he leave someone just to save his fckin life?!" Galit na galit ang expression ng mukha ni Zeus kahit naka pikit ito.

Though Im glad na nag open na sya saakin.

And for the first time I saw him crying.

"Sinisi ko sya sa pagkawala ng kaibigan namin. I thought mag fafade din yung galit na nararamdaman ko para sakanya. But its ended up like this. After what happend we choose to  forget each other. Lee came to States while Caleb umuwi sya sa province nila and the three of us stay together."

I help him sit down. This time ako yung nag punas sa luha nya. I can feel the pain.

Yung pain na nararamdaman nya.

Hindi ko pa naranasan mawalan ng kaibigan at hindi ko din naman gugustuhin mawalan. Kaya hindi ko alam kung gaano kasakit ang nararamdaman nya.

I hug him tight "Did you try asking for his reason?" I whispher.

"Im not yet ready. It was hard for me"

I gently tap his shoulder "You can cry to me that's why Im here. I will always stay here no matter what happen"

Niyakap nya ako pabalik.

"Thank you Sahara"

No matter how strong he is. May kahinaan parin sya. He maybe strong outside but really weak inside.
