Chapter 61. I Was Gonna Tell You

"What the hell was that?!"

"Was that my brother, when he was 13 or something?!" Sam screamed

"Okay now its your turn to calm down!" in the forest Sly & the other four were aimlessly walking, but to him the whole scenery looked rather familiar to him, soon enough Franky pulled him behind a tree

"Wha--" he cut him off when he pointed at four figures walking through the forest

"You kinda scaring me Alex!"

"Good..." the blonde shuddered "I'm glad I'm scaring you Sabo."

"Now that's mean, Alex!" he sighed

"Sorry kid." Brook, Chopper & Franky look at each other in disbelief as they were silently screaming as Sly & Shay had froze with a shocked face

"S-Sly..." he turns to face Chopper & noticed that the others were pointing behind him so he turned around & saw... him! The giant wolf growled at him so Sly growled back, Jaws, which was his name at the time, just looked at him

"You scary..."

"I'm you, Jaws, man boss chose a shit name."

"If your boss is Alex, I agree."

"Yeah, where is your Alex going right now?" Jaws turned around & pointed in the direction the four went

"To the cliff side." it hit Sly like a bullet when he knew what was going on

"We have to go you guys! Follow me!" they look at each other but when they looked at Sly he bolted away but in a different direction

"Where are you going Sly?!"

"Just trust me, I know what I'm doing!" they didn't ask anymore questions bit they felt a little uneasy "Oh this isn't gonna end well." Nami's group follow the children & noticed Luffy was there too

"Luffy!" she whispered/hissed at him, he didn't respond as he watched the four carefully

"I remember this..." he whispered

"Spit it out would ya, holding it in will only make is worse... Sabo." Alex glared at Sabo, which made him sweat even more

"I-I don't know what your... talking about." he looked back at Alex but quickly turned around, he was beyond pissed that Sabo was talking

"Why did that man back there call your name Sabo?!" Ace yelled

"H-He must be confused with someone else!" Ace & Luffy then started choking Sabo, which kinda confused Alex a bit, but he was still hella mad

"Tell us!"

"Fine... fine!" he choked out, they let go of him & he sighs "I-I'm... the son of a Noble." Alex clenched his fist & glared harder at the boy. He looked to the ground before storming off into the forest, they hid in the bushes or in the trees when he stormed pass them & started destroying the forest

"Why would he be mad that Sabo was a Noble?" Zoro asked, the others agreed, bit Samantha & Robin knew, now they decided to follow him, & so did Ace. Back to the older Alex, he was looking everywhere & still had no clue where anyone was

"Man... where are they?" he his behind a tree when he saw Ace jumping over a steep hill & Alex instantly knew what was happening "Oh god... I-I'm back here?!" everyone was where Alex's, not so secret anymore, hideout & were blown back at how beautiful it was but his when they saw Ace

"What's going on?" Sly knew what was happening so he was panicking

"This is the marking of the Celestial Dragons for... f-for slaves." his eyes widened, so did everyone else

"You were a... slave?" he asked as he stared at the multiple scars on his back, arms & chest, he slowly nods & puts his shirt on

"For two years... that's why I was so angry that I heard that S-Sabo... was a noble!" he got angry again & punched the wall, he clenches his fist on the wall before slowly sliding down to his knees & leaning his forehead on the wall "I was kidnapped when I was 11 & taken way from my little sister... I dreaded my life in that stupid cell & I wanted my life to end! Celestial Dragons & Nobles are all the same! They care nothing but only themselves, they don't even breath the same air as us...! After two years, I was freed by these mystery people & I was finally free, that was until Garp found me & brought me here."

"I-I'm so sorry... Alex." Alex started to cry again

"I just wanted my life to end..." a few of the others started tearing up or straight up crying

"Why didn't he tell us...?!" Zoro yelled, clearly angry

"Why should he? He's clearly been through more pain then all of you, Zoro!" Nami exclaimed

"Well... you know now." they looked towards the voice & saw him crying, everything disappeared & now they were surrounded by darkness "I was going to tell you, but I didn't want you to look at me in pity sympathy! I already have Sly, Sam & Robin to do that!"

"They knew!"

"Obviously..." they all look at him as he started crying "You guys hate me now, don't you?" before anyone could answer him the darkness surrounded him & something appeared behind him as his right eye opened
