Him

I quietly entered the loud classroom and took a seat in the front row. Everyone around me was chatting with their friends or practicing spells from their textbooks.

I bent down out of my seat to haul my textbooks out of my bag, letting my hair hide my face from view. Pulling all three of my books out at once, my wand slipped from its pocket in my bag and rolled across the floor, coming to a stop by the leg of the teacher's desk.

I quickly dropped my books on the table and jump up to retrieve it.

Before I could even fully stand up, however, someone else stooped down and gracefully plucked it from the tile.

"Thank you," I said quietly, keeping my eyes trained on the floor. I reached my hand out for my wand. I heard a deep chuckle and jumped with a start.

"Sorry, dear, didn't mean to scare you." I looked up to see a very, very tall man in dark robes. His clean-shaven face was incredibly handsome and his eyes were dark and mysterious. He gave me a small smile and pushed my wand into my hand.

I nodded in thanks before scurrying back to my seat. Focusing my gaze on the grains in the wood of my desk I heard the man sigh before returning to the front of the room.

"Welcome to Defense Against the Dark Arts, I am Professor Knight." I peeked out between the locks of my long hair at the man in front. He glanced over at my table, smirking slightly. I quickly ducked my head again.

"I know how much you all will hate me for this, but I am going to have to assign you all a chapter to read..." Before he even had time to finish, the class broke out in groans of annoyance. I giggled softly as Professor Knight grinned, amused at the class.

"However, there will be no homework tonight." The atmosphere immediately brightened and I couldn't help but smile along with the others. All of the other professors seemed to be competing to see who could assign the most homework.

Professor Knight waved his wand and a page number appeared on the chalkboard behind him.

The people around me happily turned to the chapter and whispered to their friends about their new favorite class.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

By the end of the class period, Professor Knight had gone around to every student and learned their first name, their last name, and where they were from.

When he got to my table, he didn't question why I was the only one at the four-person table. He asked me his questions and simply moved onto the next table. I was extremely grateful for that.

The clock chimed, startling me out of my thoughts.

As everyone stood to meet up with their friends, I silently started gathering my things and organizing them in my bag.

A shadow loomed over my desk and I looked up to see the professor staring down at me.

"Sir?" I squeaked out. He chuckled softly.

"Alice, will you stay after class? I need to speak with you."

"Yes sir," I say and bowed my head. He ruffled my hair before sitting down at his desk at the front of the room. I tried my best to hide my confusion and surprise, but I knew he could tell.

I sat idly at my desk, waiting for the last of the students to leave.

When they finally did, Professor Knight looked up from his papers, his glasses perched on the end of his nose.

"Alice, close the door please." I stood and did as he told me. I returned to his desk and waited quietly for him to finish grading the paper he was working on.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw him lean back in his chair and study me.

"Alice, come here, darling." I took in a sharp breath before padding around the professor's desk and standing next to him.

He reached out and grasped my waist, pulling me in between his large, spread legs. I could feel myself blushing profusely because of the very small distance between us.

We stood there for several minutes, Professor Knight studying me with his hands on my waist, and me standing between his strong, muscled thighs.

"Look at me." He commanded softly. I peered up at him through my hair.

"That's not what I meant you silly girl." He said with a chuckle. I gulped nervously before casting my gaze downwards.

I felt his long fingers wrap themselves around my chin and slowly lift it up. Professor Knight had leaned down so that we were eye to eye.

I fidgeted under his dominating gaze and tried to pull away.

"No love, don't move away from me. There isn't any reason to be nervous." He said and leaned back into his massive chair. He kept one hand on my chin while twirling his wand in the other.

As I slowly stopped fidgeting and just excepted his more dominant nature, the professor nodded approvingly. He moved his massive hand from my chin to my shoulder.

"There, isn't that better?" I nodded.

"Now, Alice, sweetie, can you tell me where my wand is?"
