The next morning Ryder decided to tell Jess his feelings for her.
He walked up to her locker and spotted her collecting the items from her backpack and putting them into the locker.
"Hey Jess".
"Oh, hi" she says with a smile.
"I don't really know how to say this...but I really like you".
"Oh, I really like you too".
This is finally it, she can be mine.
"That's great, would you wanna go on a date with me this weekend?" he says while an uneven tone and rubbing the back of his neck.
"I totally would...but Kyle kinda already asked me to be his".
