Chapter 5; The Date Part 2

(Brooklyn's P.O.V)

I had a feeling I knew where we were going, but I might as well let it be a surprise because it would make Nate happy. We get there and I go, "Nate, are we watching a movie or going inside funset?" I was really hoping he said funset because I haven't been there in forever and sometimes it's good for me to act like a little kid again. "We are going into Funset, I couldn't find any good movies to watch, I hope that's okay with you." "Yeah it's perfect for me." We go inside and I feel like Funset always welcomes me in, the arcade, the tiny bowling alley, laser tag, I loved it all. "Thanks Nate for taking me out on this date, so far tonight has been great." I look at my phone and it's 7:30. I have to be home by 9:00 or at least 9:30 stupid Monday curfews. I just wanted to hang out with Nate forever.

(Nate's P.O.V)

I got tokens for us and asked her what she wanted to play, she said her favorite game was skeeball so we went there first. She's really good at skeeball that she set a high score. I was surprised, I was hoping for a game that required me helping her and there was, basketball. She got a little mad, but it was a cute kind of mad. "URGH! I hate this game, I am horrible at shooting!" "Here, let me help you." I grabbed her hands to make a 90 degree angle and shot the ball, hoop! She was so proud, she turned around and hugged me, which I was totally fine with. I swear we were meant to be, our height was perfectly aligned. I hugged back of course, then sooner or later we let go both of us laughing. It was 8:30 by the time we were done playing games so I decided to take her back home safe and sound. "Should we go Brooklyn?" "Yeah, although I love spending time with you." "I love spending time with you too." We leave, I open the car door for her and I drive her back to her house. We get there at 8:50. I open the door for her to come out and she says, "Thanks Nate for everything tonight, I hope that we can make it school official tomorrow, and Facebook official." "No problem Brooklyn, and yes we definitely can." She hugs me out of no where and I hug her back. She backs up and says, "I guess I should get going then.. Good night Nate." "Good night Brooklyn." I watch her walk inside and wave to her. I get in the car and go home. I get home, and just straight knock out.

(Brooklyn's P.O.V)

I couldn't stop blushing, the thought of Nate made me happy, I finally feel happy. I text Jenni.

Brooklyn- Jenni! Nate asked me to be his girlfriend!!!

Jenni-Omg!!!!!! That's great news!!!!! I'm so happy for you!!

Brooklyn- thanks Jenni, but I'm tired so gonna get ready to go sleep. Bye

Jenni- bye see ya tmrr. Tell me the details!

I brush my teeth, wash my face, change into sweats, a tshirt and go to sleep. I can't wait for tomorrow, Nate comes to get me and we walk to school together and make us official.
