Rayne POV

"You wanna repeat that?"

"She's pregnant."

"Mm." I pushed him off me and walked back into the house.

I know this fool did not get this chick pregnant. I knew I should've trusted my gut feeling but I wish it was something other than this.

"Get it together Rayne, just breathe and calm yourself down before you do something you regret."

"Rae." Odell said coming inside.

"What is she doing here Odell?"

"I didn't ask her to come here."

"I came here so I can see which room I can use for a nursery. Don't you remember that Odell?"

"Don't lie on me and now is not the time for your bullshit."

"You need to leave." I told her.

"I'll leave when I'm good and damn ready. You better pray there's nothing wrong with my baby or I'm pressing charges against you."

"Bitch how if I didn't know?"

"You can't tell?" She stood up with her stomach looking flat as Taylor Swift's ass.

"Girl sit down and if anything you hit me first and you provoked me."

"Sticks and stones may break your bones but words will never hurt you."

"But your words did."

"You still shouldn't have put your hands on me, I'm still pregnant."

"Your face not."

"Both of y'all stop it!" Odell interrupted.

"Since you feel like speaking up what room I'm staying in?"

"Just shut up!" I told her.

"Make me hoe!"

I lunged at her forgetting that quick that she was with child.

"Aaliyah just leave!" Odell yelled, pulling me back.

"Fine I'll leave but I will be back. How does it feel to come in second again step mommy?" She said before she walked out.

"Please tell me she is lying. Please tell me that you were careful enough to not get this girl pregnant."

"Rae it's not like that."

"Then what is it like? Cause this whole situation is self explanatory. What is wrong with you?"

"Ain't nothing wrong with me. I wanna know what's wrong with you since you want to fight all of a sudden."

"You know damn well I wouldn't touch her unless I had to. Why would she come here and how do you know for sure that's she's pregnant?"

"She told me in California."

"In California?"
