"It's not as bad as you think, Sasha. You will love it!" Mom turned in her seat to Trisha, talked softly and gave love-you-dear look to her.
Trisha rolled her eyes. Once mom spoke up, no one of them could argued.
"Yeah, it will beee amaaaazing! I couldn't wait for it!" Trisha replied in sarcastic way.
Nobody responded. They were on their way to somewhere far far away from home, an out-of-people-attention and maybe abandoned, school. Trisha's new school, yeah. People were all surprised why she would moved to some place like that, when she could get scholarship, and had a chance in best school in town.
But her parents' decision was final.
"Here we are!" Dad announced enthusiastically.
They already took about four hours drive, and Trisha hoped they wouldn't ever reach the place. But then their car was slowing, and Dad pulls over a gigantic gate.
This was Marvillon High.
An old gigantic gate welcomed them, and Trisha could see a huge creepy castle deep in front there. Trees were all along this yard, more like a forest. She even saw something hanging from one tree to another -- is that a monkey? A monkey in school!
This.was.Mar-vi-llon.High.
They saw there were two or three odd black car parked when they reached the castle, and Dad parked their car just next to them. Trisha got down the car horribly, couldn't found the right word to describe her feelings now.
Mom and Dad got down enthusiastically. Dad got Trisha's bags from luggage and led their steps in front there. The more they got closer to the building, she could saw there were moss in every corner.
WELCOME NEW FRESHMAN!
A big banner was hanging from top of this large gate, and somehow she just horrified by those words. It just didn't feel right.
A thin and pale man was stood right after the gate, he was as freaky as this place. He was wearing out fashioned long black suit, and his nose was too big for his egg formed face, and somehow he was just too pale as a man.
Trisha didn't even want to glance at him.
"Sorry. Parents stop right here." He said.
"What? Parents can't get inside!" Dad replied desperately.
Daddy oh Daddy.
"It's okay." Mom said, she put her arms around Dad's shoulder.
"Yeah." He replied, still desperated.
"Sasha"
"We'll meet you again next six months." Mom hugged her very, very tight.
"Yeah. So make it good in this six months , okay baby? We know you always doing good." Dad said.
Then Dad also gave her I-can't-breath hug. And then, for the next few minutes, she saw their silhouette leaving, walked through the car. And with that green car, they really left.
They left her in such suspicious place.
