Luna had been looking forward to today for the past month! It was supposed to be a surprise but her father had let it slip while on the phone to her best friend Raven, who was at the time trying to study for her English exam the following day. While getting into her dad's car Luna looks to her phone after a sudden *Bleep*. A picture of a young, long blue haired girl, smiling and making a peace sign with her fingers illuminated the screen. "Madeline!!" Luna screams, picking up her phone, "So..? I've just picked up your cake and It. Is. A-mazing!" madeline shouts back with glee. "I'm so excited, we're just about to set off. I've got to go, see you there." Luna puts the phone down and sets off. *Bleep* Luna's phone lights up again, this time showing an image of a chestnut brown, dip-dyed purple, haired girl with big rounded rectangle glasses trying to cover her face from the camera and leaning in next to her is Luna; A dark, brown haired girl with bright blue eyes, laughing. Answering as fast as humanly possible Luna exclaims, "Boo!! You there yet?" Raven seems to hesitate then finally replies,
"Errr... not quite, could you maybe, possibly pick me up? I might have missed the bus a bit." Raven sounds ashamed but laughs it off since she's always late wherever she goes! Luna laughs at this, "haha okay one second, (Dad, could we pick Raven up? She missed the bus again!) Yeah, just wait there and we'll come get you lol, you best hope it doesn't rain!" Luna laughs jokingly and puts down the phone once more. She looks up, out of the window as an ashen grey cloud races close behind them like it's involved in a high speed car chase! *Ping* Luna's phone glows once again, this time, the screen reads:
"Jackie: Hey... I might not make it, my parents are lecturing me again and they're gonna take my phone! If I'm not there don't worry cause I'll Make it up to you tomorrow! I promise. Ttyl xx"
As she reads this, Luna's face drops. She was so hoping this wouldn't happen again! Sighing as she types out a reply "Oh, ok :/ I hope you can make it tho... Ttyl xx"
They turn a corner and see a girl in a black hoodie with purple hair just showing from beneath it, sat like a lost puppy, "RAVEN!!" Luna exclaims with excitement running from the car ,once her dad pulls over, and instantly jumping at her! "Woah! slow down aha didn't expect you here so fast," Raven hugs Luna in return and and stands up, "C'mon then!! Don't wanna miss laser quest, Pew Pew Pew!" as she says this, Luna runs to the car shooting her finger guns at Raven and laughing. "You're an idiot," Raven shouts back, also clambering into the small car. On her way in however, Luna grasps her left wrist and keels over in pain,"Oww not again!" With a cat's reactions, both her father and Raven look to Luna with confusion and shock as she squeezes her wrist suddenly! Raven catches a glimpse of blue light from where Luna is holding and leans in to get a closer look but just as quickly as it came, the pain disappeared and with it so did the strange light... All that was left was a mysterious blue butterfly that Luna always tells everyone is a tattoo but truly she can't remember being without it and believes that the symmetry is far too perfect to be the work of an artist.
