today, i'll be teaching you how to make a simple cover.

i will be using:

canva
pixlr
phonto
and the internet / google for images.

first :: pull up your picture. here is mine:

i like to use canva, a free app that allows you to mask pictures onto different templates; most of its content is free except some pngs, etc. but it is extremely helpful for those who are confused with image sizes.

first, create your account. you need an email (you can use the one you registered wattpad with), username, and create a password. you may need to verify your account first.

here, use the pinterest graphic option. it may be for Pinterest, but it matches with wattpad's cover sizes perfectly.

tap on it, and mask your picture onto the template. you can arrange the size and move it however you'd like.

once you have gotten the size and placement you want, download the picture to your gallery.
