"Remember," Jordan says as we pull up. "Tell anyone about Hayley staying-"

"I know, I know, social suicide for me." She finishes, getting out the car.

"I'll see you later." I smile, leaning forward from the back seat and having a quick make out session with Jordan before getting out the car and hurrying into school with a head start on Jordan.

Straight away I head to first class. Every lesson drags on, then lunch comes around.

"You look happy." Val smiles.

"So you'll talk to me now?" I question her.

"I always was, it was my parents Hayley." She explains.

"Whatever." I snap. "All I'm saying is a true friend would of-"

"Hayley." Quinn says.

"Excuse me, a real friend is calling."

"Did you stay with her last night?" Val asks.

"Yes, actually I did." I hiss before walking over to Quinn.

"Didn't expect to see you today." She says.

"With all the rumours?" I question.

"No, we thought your brother would of killed you, Carter said he was pretty mad." Quinn replies.

"If anyone asks, I stayed at your place last night, right?"

"Of course you did." She smiles.

"Thanks."

"Well we have to stick together now, feel like the school is ready to turn on us." Quinn says.

"That won't happen."

"It might."

"I won't let it." I tell her. "Excuse me."

Heading towards the front doors the janitors closet swings open and a pair of hands pull me inside. "Jordan what the fuck!" I exclaim.

I'm about to get mad when Jordan places a hard and meaningful kiss on my lips. He smiles, pulling away. "Where were you going?" He asks.

"I'm not letting things get worse than they already are." I answer.

"What?"

"I've been alone before and it's not happening again." I reply.

"You're not going to be alone, you've got me." Jordan tells me.

"I have to go." I sigh.

"Why are you being so secretive?" He asks.

"I'm going to Lauren's house, I'm going to clear my name." I whisper.

"How do you intend on doing that?"

"I won't know until I get there, will I?"

"I'm coming with you." Jordan says.

"My life is already fucked, don't get tangled up with me jock." I sigh which makes him laugh. "I'm serious."

"I believe you."

"Jordan I can't be with you right now." I sigh, pushing his hands off my waist. "Things are just too complicated and breaking my no jock rule isn't helping."

"Hayley-"

"I'm sorry." I say. "I've done the jock thing before, it's not for me. I always fuck something up with everyone and now just isn't a good time."

"But I love you."

I'm a little taken back by his words but I cannot let them effect me. "A lot of people do Jordan, trust me you'll get over it." With that said I push past him and exit the closet before sneaking out the blue double doors. I climb over the front gate and make my way over to clear my name or dig my grave ten feet deeper.
