Christian's POV

I woke up early the next morning. I'm getting tense for my speech later on. Since when have I become bashful? I looked to my right, so it wasn't a nightmare... The witch is my roommate. I shouldn't have joined the Football League and come crawling back to this campus. I got too self-centered and ditched this school last year just to join that stupid Football League. I can't believe they kicked me out! Just because I got into a fight with a richer guy. Maybe if I didn't switch schools my roommate might still be Brandon.

I went to the bathroom and rinse my face. When I came out Elyse was also up. She looks hoary! Um...that's a little redundant. She just looks hoary to me but her hair isn't white. It's brown. Well, I'm blonde. Dirty blonde to be exact, I'm not bragging but I'm just simply devastatingly handsome. Ahhh....

Elyse's POV

I glared at Christian. So gross of him to drool on the floor. Such a freak! I chuckled thinking about my awesome plan later on! I'm going to ruin that grin on his face!

After I changed to my casual clothes. A t-shirt and acid washed jeans. I'm kind of a punk, sort of, just not part of the cool kids. I never would have transferred here if my parents could afford my tuition i my old prestigious high school. I walked out of the room and went to the cafeteria. The chief smiled at me. "Early riser! Here this is for you." He handed me a pancake with peaches and syrup on top.

"Oh thanks!" I took it from him. "Um...actually I need some chilis."

"Ok? Why?" He looked at me thoughtfully and handed me a basket of spices.

"Project." I lied and gathered seven red chilis.

 "The Christian project..." I thought.

I still don't get why they let Christian give a speech and I don't get to have one. I'm sort of a green eyed monster. That's what my nemesis used to call me.

I snuck in the auditorium and squished the chilis into the refreshment that Christian will be drinking later on since he will be the first one to make a speech. God I'm galvanized!!! I quickly scurried down as I saw Christian walk up the stage to get prepared.

After a few minutes later, there was a huge crowd. The students were all gathered up. All the hubbub made it hard for me to hear the announcement of our principal before Christian's speech starts. There were a mob cheerleader following Christian. Why? He doesn't even look good.

"Teachers and colleagues...a pleasant morning to all of you! I would like to thank everybody for encouraging me to keep playing on the football team for our school. Brandon I want to tell you how thankful I am to you for accepting me back after I left this team." He smiled as the principal voice blasted out of the speakers again. I could see him trying to cover his pressure. His hands were shaking rapidly as he was reciting his speech. Haha his coward! Now is the nice timing for him to drink the water I made es[pecially for him I chuckled.

Christian's POV

I'm getting thirsty...and why is Elyse smiling ruthlessly towards me. Is something wrong? She's probably just making a fuss so I can't do my speech well...

I picked up the glass of water and took a huge gulp. Suddenly a spicy sensation shot into my throat I spit the water out directly on Crystals face. My eyes widen. Crystal twitched her eyes at me and run towards the exit. I was still in shock...The whole auditorium was filled with laughters. I was greatly embarrassed. And quickly apologized and walked out of the auditorium. My tongue was still burning. Was Elyse behind this?

I went back to our dorm and deadbolt the door. Elyse....How cruel of her! I laid on my bed. I just made a laugh about myself out there. I clenched my knuckles and my pillow. It cause a brunt. I was trying my best not to be mad at Elyse right now. She's gone too far! I shut my eyes and took a forty winks. After I rose up I felt better. not mad at her anymore. I'm just not the type that hold grudges on others. I have a brilliant deal to make for Elyse!

Elyse's POV

I'm starting to get worried. I didn't see Christian the rest of the day after that speech. Is he still frustrated? I went back to my dorm. I've decided to say sorry. I twisted the knob. Nothing happen? I banged on the door. Still nothing..Did Christian---SUICIDE?!

"Hey! Open up!" I belowed. At the same time my cellphone vibrated. Christian texted me. "You should promise me something before I let you in."

Another succeeding message says: "Let me cut your hair or you feign as my gf for a week. Or you'll not be coming in."

"My hair?!" I shouted. "Your insane!"

He texted again. "Gf? Is that a deal?"

So I just replied. "I suppose if that's pretending ONLY. Why? To make the cheer squads hate me?"

"No to make them jealous and at the same time hate. If your my gf they'll stop tailing around. I can go in to class peacefully."

"Fine! Open the door!!! You just want to brag!" I kicked the door and it opened.

"Hi sweetie!" He gave me a sly smile.

"I reject the deal!" I scoffed.

"I saved it." He took his cellphone out. And he took another step towards me I stepped back. He kept doing the same thing until I was on the edge of the room. I closed my eyes. Is he going to kiss me? Gross!---instead he flicked my embella.

"Oww..." I cupped my hand on my forehead. "I don't get you."

"You were looking forward for a kiss! Haha stop daydreaming not going to happen!"

"And I'm not malicious. This is as near I get near a girl. I value my comfort zone." He smiled.

 "Your gay?!" My mouth sagged.

"No, but I'm not ready for a realtionship. I don't want to make commitments and end up breaking a girls heart." He shrugged.

"Such a gentleman!" I mocked at him and pushed him away.

"So can you pretend for a week?" He asked hopefully.

I gave him a thumbs up. "Just to tell you how sorry I am and well that's probably---it."

"Thanks!" He chuckled and he turned off the lights. We both went to have a deep slumber in our own bed.
