she didn't mean to fall
in love with him
this wasn't the plan
she told herself
but she couldn't ignore love
some piece of her
despite having her heart broken
once before
and a thousand promises
that never saw the light of day
decided that this love
was worth the risk
because she didn't know that
love could feel this way
