Returning To Him

💖 CHAPTER 5 💖

We arrived at the school 5 minutes early, since Asher was driving like a mad man. I made my way to my locker and saw the gang there. " hey guys," I greeted them. "Hello, sup, how's it going," they all gave me different replies. Just then the bell rang indicating the start of school. None of my friends were in my first class.  I took my books out of my locker before hedding off to biology. my least favourite subject.
All of us were the same age except Imraan who was a year older than us. There was Derek , Annie , Alex , Binyameen, na'ima Robert , Zack,  ubaydah ,  and of course there's me , Hussain, and Asher.

Let me give you a little bit of info on my weird friends, before you freak out and run the opposite direction.

Imraan : is the responsible one , he use to be  like me, mischievous,  daring, and idiotic.  Then last year after holidays he came back like a responsible person. I can tell you for sure that gave us all a big shock, because never in a million years would we have though he would turn out this way. None of us know what changed him, and he refuses to talk about it.

Derek : is the moody one. Always moody, you'll rarely see him smile , he's always scowling. Last year he stole a guitar from a really expensive shop. Apparently the guitar was an antique. Derek got caught due to the CCTV  cameras around. The police never fond the guitar , because it was hidden in a his room  in a compartment under his wooden floor boards. BTW don't tell anyone that I told you this, it's suppose to be a secret. okay?  Good!

Annie : she's a big girly girl, I mean she still loves barbie. (Who still loves barbie for goodness sake . I NEVER did.) At
Least she not as much of a girly girl as Hanna. Alhamdulillah.  There's a rumour going around that Derek and Annie are dating.  Annie use to be muslim, but she left Islam after her parents died . She blamed Allah for her parents death.

Alex : No his name is not short for Alexander or any other fancy name. It's just plane old Alex. He's the  geek he's a cute. I remember I use to have a crush on him, but that was before he joined our circle and was new to the school. But now he's like a brother to me.

Binyameen : He's the religious one. There's always that one friend who's breathing down your neck about your salahs and fasts...ECT...... . And that friend just so happens to be him. He actually reminds me of Iman. Wallahi if he was old enough to marry her then they would be the perfect super religious couple. Ya Allah have mercy on their kids! Ameen. If you randomly say to yourself "I'm having the worst day today " then he'll replie to you by saying "it's because you haven't prayed today, have you prayed?" Then he'll go on ranting for hours. He also reminds me of my dad. Ya Allah I have two dads!

Na'ima : MY BEST FRIEND since the age of 2 . We are inseparable.  She wants to be a match maker when she grows up. And of course she the one who trying to pair khalid and Aneesa . But to be honest with you if they did get married, then wallahi I would be so happy, because it would mean that I would have one of my dreams coming true. Na'ima being my sister! She's really crazy to. If she gets hyper, (which she is all the time, without sugar ) on sweets then there's no stopping her from bouncing of the walls. Did I forget to mention she has the same name as a very inspiring muslim writer.

Zack : yup you guessed right, Zack is indeed that kid I beat the crap out of when we where kids. I found out that he was related to Asher. Apparently Zacks mums sister, married a non muslim,  and his sisters son is Asher. By the ways guys don't judge, it's her choice not yours. He still acts like a jerk. He's from NYC. Also I think he has this weird crush on ubaydah, but he refuses to admit it. Don't ask me how I know, I just do.

Ubaydah : she a sweetheart, ( no wonder Zack likes her) always comforting people when they are sad. She has a really low voice, and she NEVER raises it at ANYBODY, unless she FUMMING.  She dos'nt get mad that easily,  but when she does, you better run for your life.
