The song seemed to exist in a new altercation, in which I had not acknowledged before.

I sat, listening to what seemed a long interval, when, in fact, not much time had passed.

Listening – listening to a phrase in which I grew keen.

My vision faded into a passage way contained by the wall I was adjacent; from the room in which I dreamed, sinking, pondering.

A voice – a voice that so frailly whispered of a way to heaven, sought through an utmost manner of sadness… that our sorrows could build a stairway. Thus, lead us through our very tears.

He is to be brought home – home that is – in my comprehension, not the heaven in which he is sought from.

To end her sorrows – what she’s going through. Who this is I contemplated – contemplated as to who this is to be brought to from which he hailed.
