It's in everyone's minds
It lurks around every corner
It feeds on your terror without making a sound
It's the thing that haunts everyone
Fear
Fear of spiders
Fear of snakes
Fear of death , destruction , or mayhem
Fear that is rational or irrational
Everyone feels fear
But no one wants to acknowledge it
We are all just hiding from our fear
Some let it consume them
Others learn to fight back
