A Second Too Late

What would have happened if I'd stayed ?

Could I have changed the outcome ?

Could I have saved their life ?

Or would things stay the same ?

Would one simple action change the course of time ?

Or would things have turned out the way they did ?

Did you know what was going to happen ?

If you did why did you do it ?

Could you possibly known what you put me through ?

I don't know

Beacause I was a second too late
