Chara's POV
-----------------

I woke up in a dim-lit room. My crimson-iris's immediately scanned around—until, they casted-down, next to me. Acknowledging, the empty space next to me. It looks like I wasn't even in Asriel's bedroom anymore. Mentally, unaware I hadn't realized the room was gradually blackening—all except, the very corner across the room; resonated a little patch of light. Although, the light was dim, its illumination stood-out, intertwining with the darkness.

All of a sudden fog begun to emanate within the dim-light. Subconsciously, my limbs started trembling at the unsustainable-sight before me. I felt paralyzed—feeble.

My SOUL quaked, immensely.

Meanwhile, vines started vastly, emerging with unimaginable force. Prying through the floor and tauntingly, slithering over towards my direction. The unsettling sounds of its thick, heavy-vines drag its weight across the hard, blackened surface only increased her uneasiness. Their sharp, needle-like thorns screeched towards Chara's exact-location, causing waves of anxiety to emit within.

Before, Chara could snap herself out of this perpetual—frightening-state. One of the vines, vigorously wrapped around her leg; its thorns sinking into her flesh, causing the aforementioned, to erupt a blood-curling scream. The constricting-pressure made her legs give out, collapsing onto the hard-cold, ivory surface.

Chara felt the urge to scream again, but to no avail.

Hot-tears flooded her crimson-eyes, helplessly trickle-down the apples of her cheeks. Not long after that, another vine latched around her other leg and they slowly slithered-up, towards my waist. Chara mentally cries out for Asriel and his desire to protect her from this monstrosity.

But then she's suddenly, realized—she was alone...

What if this entire-time this was all satire, she completely hallucinated meeting the Dreemurr's this whole time?

Especially, Asriel...

Meeting, the Dreemurs has been an interesting and unforgettable experience—one Chara had grown quite fond of—one that would absolutely, crush her to pieces if she found out this was all a dream—hallucination—a prison to unattainable happiness...

Is this some disarray that's causing me to go insane?

Have I been alone and unkept all this entire time?

All of a sudden, out of nowhere—a figure appeared before my very eyes.

It was him...

My disgusting, pathetic-excuse of a father.

"Hello, Chara~" he muttered out, in a patronizing-manner.

That man has always lived an unethical lifestyle. Always raising his voice, or gas-lighting people left and right. Drinking most of the time, or snorting 'pollen'.
If he's not doing either of those things, he'll occupy himself with—

.....

'Other', heinous—fucked-up unethical-acts, for his own selfish, disgraceful benefit. He is a sick bastard. Chara prays that he rots from the inside-out.

What makes matters worse is that my own mother wouldn't even rescue me when I needed her the most. However, I've overheard her one -time proclaiming her 'distaste', of wanting to be childless.

I was how you say "A mistake"

My mother got pregnant very young and out of desperation she married the aforementioned-man. I had to learn most life-skills all by myself; like learning the alphabet and numbers—plus, whenever I had to attend school most students would always harass and terrorize me.
