I walk up to a house with Kaylee Kyce, who basically dragged me along. It's a party you see, and this is the first one I've been to. Kaylee is just a friend, not close or anything. She actually just saw the opportunity for me to come and asked, so I said yes surprisingly.

"You know, I really don't like parties..." I look at her and whine.

"You'll be fine! Now come on, let's go have some fuuuuuuun!" She drags me inside and I look around. A bunch of kids from South and other schools are here. The air smells like weed and everyone is either smoking it, drinking alcohol, or making out. I see a few fights as well which makes my anxiety kick in. Before I go outside to avoid the excitement of the fight, I see who's fighting: Jason Johnson and Wesley Baxton. And Wesley is losing. something made me want to stay and watch, and I guess drink, cause the next thing I know, I'm downing a beer and watching the fight until Welsey is kicked out and everyone is high fiving Jason. I didn't even realize that as soon as I finished the beer, Jason was walking towards me. I guess he was going to talk to someone behind me or something, so I moved out of the way. But he didn't.

"Um... What?" I look at him, feeling a bit awkward. I could already tell he was a bit drunk, explaining why he was fighting Welsey.

He comes closer to me, almost a few inches to my face, before stepping back with a beer in his hand.

I was standing in front of the cooler like an idiot.

"You know.. I saw you watching the fight." He says, drinking the beer.

"Well, yea, everyone was." I was looking at the floor. Why was he even talking to me? I'm just an emo outcast. And he's a football player. So.. Why?

He caged me in now. "Why is a girl like you in here in the first place?"

"W-well.. girl like me...?" I say in a barely audible voice.

"Vulnerable." He whispers in my ear, sending shivers down my spine.

I could already tell he was looking me up and down. Feeling uncomfortable, I glare at him. "Look, I don't really like you, so I suggest you get out of my face before you get hurt."

"Oh really?" He smirks, "what if I do this?" He suddenly kisses me, making me stand still. I struggle, soon getting out of his grip and punching him in the face. He stands back, a bit of shock on his face. But also... Amusement? "Ha. I like a girl who fights back... Just wait. You'll be mine soon, Olivia."

He walks off, leaving me stand there with a blush on my face and a hurt hand. I guess my boxing lessons really payed off. What really pissed me off though was him using my real name.

I look over at Kaylee, who's already drunk off her rocker. I go and walk up to her and grab her hand with my good one and drag her out. "We're going Kaylee." I take her keys, I guess I'll just have to spend the night at her house.

"Why??? The party was just getting started!" She gets out of my grip to get in the car.

"Feeling sick." I start to drive back to her house, still thinking about what happened with Jason.

The next day at school went pretty much alright. Art, Economics, Government, even History and Chemistry went well. Until on my way to Algebra.

I stop at my locker and put up my stuff from Chemistry and Government when my locker was suddenly slammed shut. I jump back and put my fists up, a natural reaction I have from constant bullying from my old school. I look up and see Jason, who's looking a bit concerned.

"Um... What was that for???" I have my voice barely raised, scared he's gonna pay me back for last nights punch.

"I'm sorry for last night. I was really drunk and still pumped from fighting Wesley." He rubs the back of his neck, not looking at me.

"W-well... Um... It's fine I guess. And I'm sorry about punching you. But... Now I have to go to class." I go to move passed him, but he blocks me.

"I'm like, seriously sorry."

"I said it's fine, don't worry about it." I get passed him this time, and get into class, sitting in my desk and goofing off with my friends.
