It was the classic Romeo and Juliet tale, only... neither of them die. Let's start be how they met shall we?
A long time ago, well... time was created. There were two kingdoms in Time, Day and Night. And with the Kingdoms were subjects. Day Time had the clouds, weather, and beams of light. And the most royal was the Sun Dynasty. Her family line was composed of different stars, all of which came from the Night Time. The Kingdom of Night's subjects were mainly the shadows and death, but, every once in a while, a star will be born. Although Night Time would always try to hide and protect the newborn star, Day Time would always find out and overpower the kingdom, snatching the star and raising it as their own.
But this time, they were late.
In the little time she had, Sun grew to a child and befriended Moon, Night Time's most recent heir. Sun greatly enjoyed being around Moon, who always made her smile. And Moon loved to see her smile. To him it was like hot chocolate on a cold, windy day. Or looking over a field of roses after going through an apocalypse. Her smile, made his smile.
But, just as summer soon fades into winter, Day Time discovered Sun. Being the stronger kingdom, Day Time removed her from Night Time. Night tried to fight back, but their last hope had been taken, and the fire to fight in their hearts quickly burned out. Day Time hypnotized Sun into forgetting about Night completely. Forgetting about Moon. But he remembered.
And he'll never forget.
