How long had it been since she saw that playful winter sprite fly over England? How long had it been since the time she saw him but he did not quite notice she saw him? How long was she going to sit here asking herself questions when magic and creation lay before her?
The dim room smelled strongly of dirt and herbs, the temperature low as the many candles burned low and cast eerie shadows about the room. With a smile, she cast her visible eye to the clay figure laying on the stone table. Painstakingly sculpted and infused with magic, this was the culmination of many lifetime's worth of Magic study and finding the perfect subject to copy.
The figure made of clay cut an almost life-like image of Jack Frost. Hair, lashes, every detail was in place on the clay sculpture as she gently brushed fingers over its cheek and then lifted it to place it in the center of the circle on the ground. Ice crept over her fingers as she picked up the jar containing the key components to bringing it to life.
-----------A Week Ago------------
The redheaded woman stood silently, wrapping her face with black cloth as she prepared the daunting task of infiltrating Tooth's home and stealing a rather specific set of baby teeth. The memories were one of the most important ingredients for her upcoming masterpiece, she could not finish her creation without them.
Somehow, she managed to find Tooth's home, making her way inside. It took a few moments, the small fairies were so busy and merely a blur to her eyes at first. She tried to use her magic to cloak herself, though it broke down when she tried to free the capsule that contained the memories. Feeling the many eyes on her, she pulled the capsule out and tucked it away before the onslaught began.
There was soon a barrage of fairies attacking her, buffeting her and nearly knocking her to the ground as she saw the Tooth Fairy herself turn towards her.
"It's you..."Toothania said, staring at her for a moment before flying at her with a look of mild worry in her eyes.
The Tooth Fairy looked both worried and angry about her mere presence, as if they had met before. In truth, though they had never really met before, all of the Guardians knew of her and she was on a list of people to keep away from their homes and from children.
It was not too much of a fight before the redhead slammed magic into Tooth to catch her off guard for a moment, making a break for the exit. She didn't want to hurt anyone, but she would fight back if she had to. They all believed her to be a killer, anyways. It took much more fighting and nearly knocking Tooth out for her to get away. A quick spell that briefly blinded Tooth was what finally facilitated her escape.
-----Here and Now----
She was still nursing wounds from then, though somehow Tooth had found the capsule back in her home a few days later. Sighing, she held a cool hand to one of the bruises on her face for a moment before arranging the candles around the circle and chanting softly.
The temperature began to drop rapidly as the words spilled from her lips. She finally opened the jar with the ingredients, a small blizzard seeming to take form in the room as the contents poured onto the clay doll. Color began to spread across the doll, blue hoodie, hide pants, bare feet, pale skin, white hair. The snow stopped as the boy's eyes opened slowly. The brilliant blue eyes were the last thing she would see before passing out from expending so much magic.
