Just a quick notice, the first few chapters take place in the summer so all the characters aren't introduced until around the 6th chapter and the chapters before them are fairly short and basically just showed some of the past chemistry between Eliza and Jason. The chapters get longer as you read on so bare with me.
If you are suffering through boredom through the chapters, nothing important for future chapters happens until chapter four. The first few chapters just happen to develop the story and some characters.
