*Clover's POV*
It was a normal Saturday morning, but something just didn't feel right. As I woke up to my alarm, Party in the USA, I looked outside and saw a movers truck in the driveway of the house next to mine.
I went up to my window, not caring how messy my hair was, I looked into the similar layout window in the house next to me.
Usually I would see an empty, light green colored room, but now I saw, a bed, some boxes and a guitar. Someone had moved in. I was not really expected anyone to move into this house, since it had been empty for almost 5 years now. When I was 11, the people from that house had moved out.
A loud noise from the windows in front of me woke me up from my thoughts. I looked up to see a boy who looked about my age, with soft light brown curls, bright green eyes and a really big smile. Not to mention he was kinda cute...BUT WAIT! I'm still in my bedhair, my faded top and pajamas! I quickly closed the curtains and went back to bed, since I wanted to wake up late today, and anyways it doesn't matter because I'm home alone. My mom has to work in the mornings and afternoons and she hardly gets a break. And my dad, well let's just say that he was somewhere among the stars looking at me and smiling proudly because of whatever I have achieved in my life. He had died when I was 6 years old...
*Flashback*
My dad was driving the car and me and my mom were sitting in the back seat, since I was little and I was scared to sit alone. My dad was driving while talking to my mom and occasionally looking at us from the front mirror and smiling. Of course I was smiling back at him and I even saw him making some funny faces which made me laugh. I was his little girl. When suddenly my dad hit the brake since the car in front of us had abruptly stopped, this caused me to jerk forward so hard, that my head bumped into the seat in front of me despite my seatbelt. This made my dad look at me and he told my mom to get me and herself out of the car because he wanted us to be safe in case of any other harm. My mom picked me up and I went outside, rubbing my head because it hurt. I looked up to see my mom, but she was in tears. I looked at where she was looking and I noticed that my dad's car was severely damaged and crushed between two cars...there was blood splattered across the windows and my dad was nowhere to be seen. I tried looking for him from where I was standing, but before I could my mom's hands covered my eyes from seeing anything more.
*End of flashback*
Before I knew it, I felt tears roll down my cheeks, I buried my face into my soft pillow and let out a muffled scream, then I heard footsteps outside of my bedroom dorr. I quickly wiped the tears off of my face and gulped the big lump that had formed in my throat from the crying.
"Clover honey are you up?" my mom asked.
Yay! She had come back home early this morning.
"Yes mom I'm coming out in five minutes," I said.
She opened the door and came beside me to wake me up with a hug.
"Sweetie, I came home early because, I thought that the new neighbors might startle you a little, how are you feeling this morning?".
I
loved my mom, she never made me feel the absence of my dad since the day of the accident.
"I'm doing fine mom, thanks for checking on me. You should probably take some rest now too." I said.
"I'm sorry honey, but I will have to go back to work, since I told them that it was an emergency and they're probably expecting me to go back."
"It's okay mom I will be fine. Bye I love you." I said giving her a peck on the cheek .
"Love you too honey. Bye!" she said returning the peck on my cheek.
