Stepping up to the Baker's door, hand raised ready to knock before it flew open nearly knocking him off his feet. Mr Baker stood just behind it. "She's upstairs" he spoke, irritation laced in his voice. Clay slowly climbed the stairs in no rush. Suddenly he heard an ear splitting scream. "Hannah" he shouted, fearing the worst and taking the last few stairs two at a time and bursting through the door of Hannah's bedroom where the scream had come from. Behind the door Hannah was sitting in her bed, still not ready, clothes laying neatly folded at the end of her bed, and her mum was attempting to drag  her out of the bed. Hannah spotted Clay and stopped screaming. "Helmet you won't make me go back will you?" Hannah asked with pleading eyes. Yep the day was here. The day Hannah had to go back to school. She hadn't been back since the whole incident. And by the looks of it didn't want to now. Clay nodded at Mrs Baker and she let go off Hannah's hand leaving. Softly closing the door behind her. When Clay heard the door click closed behind him he moved forward and kneeled next to Hannah. Grabbing her hand and giving it a gentle squeeze. "Hannah you have been so brave recently, reliving all your hell, school should be a piece of cake". Hannah looked up through her lashes at him. "But I'm scared" she whispered.  Clay just about heard her. "Why are u scared?" He questioned. "What if going back makes it worse?" She said. "What if seeing them all brings it back what if they tease me, say I'm stupid that I couldn't even commit suicide properly" she confessed, breaking down. Tears pooling in her eyes, rushing down her cheeks. Clay grabbed her and pulled her into his arms, holding her so tight. Afraid if he let go he would lose her. "Hannah I will be right there every step of the way I promise" Clay said, sincerity and concern in his voice. He could feel her shaking so violently but eventually she nodded and pulled back slightly. Clay wiped her tears and stood up, offering his hand. She quickly dressed not caring how she looked. She grabbed Clay's hand once again. Finding comfort in knowing he was there. Together they descended the stairs, ready to face what ever the day threw at her cause with Clay at her side she was confident for anything and more happier than ever
