Eren's Pov
"Oi brat, help me clean" Levi said coming over to me holding two brooms
"Y-yes Captain" I said as he handed me a broom
We started cleaning opposite sides of the room and it was quiet
"Levi why do you like cleaning so much" I asked walking over to him
"Because I do" he said as he began polishing a shelf
"Your really good at it"
"Thank you" he said still in the same tone without smiling
He was giving me blunt answers as usual so I didn't say anything else
I finished sweeping the floor and helped Levi polish
"Your good at cleaning" Levi said nodding at my work
"Thanks!" I said smiling
"Wow Levi your complementing someone" Erwin said leaning on the door frame
"Shut up Erwin you can't clean to save your life and don't lean on that I cleaned it" Levi said annoyed
"Geez calm down" he said leaving as I walked over to the door frame
"What are you doing!?" Levi shouted making me jump
"Polishing it" I said timidly
"Leave it" he said
"But-"
"LEAVE IT, JUST GO YOU'RE DONE NOW" Levi shouted
"Oh okay" I said dropping my cleaning supplies
I walked over to Mikasa and Armin who were talking with Jean
"Hey guys"
"Eren where have you been?"
"Helping Levi with the cleaning but he's in a bad mood and just yelled at me to get out"
"Whenever is he in a good mood" Mikasa said as they all laughed as I didn't really laugh and I didn't know why
"He is very strong though did you see those titans he killed last week? Amazing I wish I could do that" Jean said wistfully
"We are all going out again tomorrow to capture some titans aren't we?" I asked
"Yep" Hanjj said sitting beside us
"There just so fascinating if you really think about it"
She launched into a huge explanation as everyone groaned
We soon had dinner together and I noticed Levi wasn't there
"Where is Captain Levi?" I asked
"Right here" he said as everyone turned around and he walked and sat down
"Sorry I'm late everyone" he said and everyone began eating
Levi's eyes were red and puffy like he had been crying but of course that doesn't happen though? He's Levi he doesn't cry
"Oh Eren I'm sorry about earlier" he said
