Ch. 1- Meet the Parents!

Augustine was a handsome 20 year old man who had just recently moved from Florida to Texas. Mary Jane was a beautiful young woman who was determined to not let a man show her how to do things. Augustine's hazel eyes shined in the Texas heat.

"Good day, I'm Augustine, pleasure to make your acquaintance." He took her hand.

"The pleasure's all mine." Mary Jane blushed.

They spent all day together looking around town and having a good time. Mary Jane had never met a man as civil as Augustine and Augustine had never met a woman as well driven as Mary Jane.

"Would you like to go on a date with me, perhaps, 7 Pm tomorrow?" Augustine asked, hoping not for rejection.

"I would be delighted." Mary Jane curtsied. Augustine kissed her hand before she walked away. Mary Jane blushed and knew this would be the man she would spend the rest of her life with.
