This mostly occurs in fanfictions. If you have a face claim for your character, please refrain from making any references to any shows/movies that the celebrity is in. It sounds confusing, I know, but I'll give you an example. If your character's face claim is Anna Kendrick, it's pretty idiotic to make Pitch Perfect references. Most people think they're being really funny but in reality, it's stupid. It throws off the realistic aspects of the book and can damage an entire story. I have read books where the face claim is Crystal Reed or Holland Roden and the character is just casually binge watching Teen Wolf. Umm...what?? And it makes me cringe so much when the character says something like, "Oh my god, I can't believe Lydia did that," or, "Gee, I wish I was Allison."
