Falling for a Rose

Author's Explanation!!!

Ahem! Author here, in case any of you didn't know that is. Anyways! Like the description says, this is a RWBY fanfiction about the one and only ship, Cookies and Cream! Or Ruby X Neo if any of you didn't know! Anyways, the story here takes place during and after the events of Volume three.(insert tears here). This is the version this story will follow. Please bare with me.

During the whole Roman and Neo versus Ruby fight on top of the airship, after Roman gets eaten, Ruby jumps off to save herself. As she's shooting Crescent Rose to break her fall, she is tackled by a falling Neo, whom wants revenge for the killing of Roman. The two tangle with each other and eventually Neo overthrows Ruby, watching her fall about fifteen feet then landing herself.

She was ready to kill the young girl, whom was unconscious due to the fall breaking her Aura. Although...The more Neo stared at Ruby, the more she was reminded of herself at a young age. Weak...Hurt...In need of dire help...Which came in the form of Roman Torchwick...Who was now gone because of this girl laying in front of her. Neo couldn't think of what to do, but eventually, she asks herself "What would Roman do?" And...Thinking of the hurt Ruby as herself, she did what Roman did to her many years ago. Neo carried Ruby out of Vale and ran...

Many months passed...Neo had taken care of Ruby for the time being, the young girl still not waking up from her slumber. Neo had taken Ruby to an island just off the southern coast of Vale, a place she and Roman visited frequently. Soon however, the young Huntress to be started awaking, and that is where our story begins you fellow shippers.
