Oh shit. I'm so sorry." I apologized to the stranger that I had just poured my coffee all over them. "I wasn't paying attention. I'm so sorry."

The person was checking out the stain on their sweater and then he, yes, he looked up. My eyebrows frowned automatically. Wait, who is this? Where do I know him from?

"You!" The guy with blue hair exclaimed. The voice is familiar too. His blue eyes, his thick eyebrows. I do know him. "Crystal! You still couldn't recognize me." He pouted childishly. Wait speaking of child. This is Awsten, my childhood friend.

"Oh my God. Awsten. It's you, right?" I exclaimed this time, earning glares around the coffee shop.

"Hell yeah it's me!" He said, quickly pulling me into a tight hug. Oh god, I missed his hugs. He was always this sincere to me, the second we met again after like forever, he still was as nice and genuine as before.

"Wooww! It's been forever." I stated.

"I know right? You look great!" He complemented.

"Thank you! So do you babe. Look at you, rocking the blue hair and all."

"Oh well, I've always loved blue so, you know. " he shrugged it off.

"I know you have. Looks awesome. " I touched his soft hair.

" Yours is black. You used to be blonde. So you dyed your hair too?" He asked this time.

"Oh well, I've always loved black so." I mimicked his response.

He laughed it off.

"You know. I'm actually in a rush right now, but why don't exchange number and catch up later?" I offered.

"Right, I was on my way to the band practice anyways. Give me your number real quick." I took his phone and added my number to his contacts.

"You're in a band? Wow Oh my god. Dude we have a lot to catch on. But I gotta get to the class. I'm sorry."

"No problem. Talk to you later." I gave him a light hug before I ran off the coffee shop. I hopped into my car and realized I had forgotten to offer him a new sweater after I poured coffee all over him. Oh well. Maybe next time.

Since i was running late, I started the car right away, driving to my university.

And wait. Why was he wearing sweater in this hot weather? Me for instance, I only had an over sized bleached black band shirt that went down to my almost mid thigh and short shorts that wasn't even showing under the t-shirt. Only my fishnet socks and thick black choker made me feel fancy about my outfit. Thank god I had the time to put on make up today, so I wouldn't look like a potato in the campus. To be honest, whenever I'm in the car, I mentally check out my outfit and everything else for the day. So bare with me when I think about my outfit everyday.

As I got the campus and somehow made it to the class in time, I was out of breath though. Once I settled in and caught my breath I received a text.

I checked it out and it was from an unknown number. I assumed it was from Awsten and I was right.

Hey Criss. It's Awsten and this is my number.

Criss. Yes, Criss. He used to call me that, and apparently still does.

I got your number now then Awstee.

Awsten was my bestest friend from middle school and from my old neighborhood. We were neighbors next door, our parents were friends. We were always together, hanging out. But then they moved out, that's when we stopped seeing each other. It wasn't like we had phones to keep on touch or anything either so that was the last time I saw him.

But it really made my day to meet him today. Although it was an unfortunate way to meet someone. I was being the clumsy I am again and it wasn't so pretty. But oh well. He's no stranger so.
