Eric has been away for three weeks now, and I'm running out of things to do to stay busy. I got hired at a insurance agency, but I won't start that until after Easter.

My patience has been non existent for the last few days. Wells Fargo reported that I was late on my car payment, when I wasn't. So, I've been getting that sorted out. I have to wait for all three credit bureaus to take it off my credit.

Also, I'm tired of people putting their 2 cents in things they don't have any knowledge about. A couple of days ago, the US launched an airstrike on an Assad air base in Syria. This is important because it is to be a message to our enemies, North Korea included, to not mess with us right now. It was supposed to send a message to Assad to not torture their citizens anymore with chemical warfare. I personally don't have an opinion on the matter. I want the war and fighting to be over with. Any military spouse does. However, we have to support our husbands if something happens. We don't have to agree, we just have to be there for them. With this air strike, most wives are discussing on blogs and social media about how they're about to launch a new World War, and our spouses will be shipped over in the next few months. No wife wants to read this kind of thing. I think it's disgusting that it's being discussed on social media for young wives like myself to worry over. Is it some kind of superiority thing? Do these wives need to feel like they're so smart and so much "more informed" than us? The last mass deployment was after September 11th, 2001, so part of me wants to think it's okay, but these discussions are making young wives worry to death, myself included. I was reading an article from Soldier's Wife, Crazy Life that said:

"Even though our head knows that going to war is exactly what our spouse has been trained for, even if we understand that on a logical level, our heart doesn't quite get it."

This is so powerful because it's beyond true. I know it's his job. I'm tired of people saying "you signed up for it when you married him". But that doesn't make it suck any less. I'm just ready for the conflict to be over with.

That's really that's on my mind lately. Annoyance, paranoia, and worry.

God bless,

Carly
