Chapter 1 : The red string that connects us both.

Nagisa's POV

A string. A red string, one that could not be broken. May be tangled and stretched, but it will never break.

Once you see your soulmate, the red string appears. Leaving you and that person bonded forever.

"I'll be leaving now, I'll see you later mom!"
I yelled, running out of my apartment; I quickly locked the door and dashed down the hallway.

Today was my first day of going to Kunugigaoka Junior High, it was nerve-racking since it was one of those "prestigious" schools. But I'm glad I even got to make it in.

I made it outside, the spring air brushing past my face; the pink cherry blossom petals poured over me. It was pretty, the sound of birds chirping and bikes passing every now and then.

"It's a nice day." I smiled, gripping my bag and beginning my walk to my new school,

Kunugigaoka Junior High.

"Alright class, that's all for your first day of school. Be sure to fill out your student information forms!" The teacher informed, closing up his book and placing it on his desk.

I packed up my stuff, relieved that school was finally over. It was not much, but tiring.

There was an empty seat behind me, it supposedly was this boy named Karma Akabane's seat. It was strange he didn't come to school on the first day.

I slid on my bag and headed out of the classroom, finding myself in the crowd; I quickly changed my shoes and went outside.

The fresh air of spring blew across my face, it felt good to be out of the building. Especially when boys and girls teased you for looking like a girl.

I can't blame them, after all, I do look like a girl.

I walked passed the park, seeing a red-head sitting down on a bench; his red-hair flowed in sync with the wind.

Huh? What is this..?

I glanced at my hand, seeing a red string tied to my pinky. I followed it, staring down at it while it bounced and moved. My tiny figure smashed into something, something that was-

Red?

I glanced up, seeing the red-head I had just seen.

No way..

My soulmate?!
