The doorbell rings and Cas gets pulled back into reality. He was reading a book for English, but as soon as he realizes Dean's here, he drops it and sprints downstairs. "I'll get it!" Anna yells.

"No, no, I think it's for me!" Castiel replies, too late. Anna opens the door and smiles when she sees Dean.

"Told you it was for me." she smirks, not knowing that Dean was here for Castiel.

"Uh, actually, I'm here for Cas." Dean says. Awkward. He looks at Anna, her face reveals her disappointment.

"I told you so." Castiel teases, Anna rolls her eyes. "Well, let's go then."

Anna reaches out to kiss Dean, but either he doesn't seem to notice or he's just ignoring it, because he just turns around and walks out of the door. Cas has to try his very best not to smile a little at this incidence.

They walk up to a car that Cas assumes is Dean's father's, a 1967 Chevy Impala. It's a very muscular but impressive car, Dean enjoys watching Castiel's face expression as he lays eyes on it.

---

It was an awkward car ride, full of small talk and long silences. After a fifteen minute drive, they arrive at the house of the Masters sisters. Ruby and Meg Masters, two dangerous looking girls, are throwing a party and Dean convinced Cas to come. Castiel isn't really a party person, but he doesn't want to ruin things with Dean, not yet.

The house is so crowded, everyone's sweating and drinking, it makes Castiel uncomfortable. If it wasn't for Dean, he wouldn't even have thought of coming to this place. He recognizes some people from school, but most of the people are strangers to him.

Dean's chatting with some random girls, he really doesn't care what they're talking about and it all sounds blurry to him, but atleast it's better than the awkward conversations he has with Castiel. He regrets taking him here, he seems like the type who hates parties.

Cas tries to avoid the dancing drunks while he works his way to the garden. When he makes it outside he inhales the crisp midnight air. "You're not really a party person, I assume?" a British voice says, Castiel recognizes it immediatly. It was Crowley, he goes to the same school and people usually use the words 'shady' and 'creep' to describe him.

"Go away."

"So anti-social. Here, have a smoke, it might lighten up the mood a bit." Crowley smirks, he pushes a cigarette in Castiel's hands and disappears without saying anything else. Cas stares at the thing in his hands, it doesn't look like a normal cigarette. But what does he know about it, he never smoked before. And right now he feels so miserable, and maybe Crowley was right. So he just went for it.

Dean was now listening to life-story of Garth, a nice but strange guy he doesn't even know. He hasn't seen Cas in about an hour and he's getting a bit worried. He ends the conversation with Garth to go look for the boy. After some asking and trying to make it through the crowd he found Cas in the garden. He was barely visible, but he was lying in the grass, gazing at the stars. "Cas?" Dean asks to be sure, it's really dark outside.

"Oh, hello Dean. Did you suddenly remember my existence?" he giggles.

"Wait a second..." Dean says, looking at Cas again. "Cas, are you high?!"

"This Crowley guy gave me something and it smelled so weird and now I feel very happy." Castiel tries to contain his laughter as he looks at Dean's face.

"Jesus, Cas!" Dean attempts to sound mad, but it's actually really funny and cute how Cas is just giggling at everything. Dean is pretty buzzed himself, he can't help but laugh at how Castiel is trying to pull a straight face.

"Stop it Dean!" Cas says, he looks at Dean beautiful face that is clearly visible in the moonlight.

"Oh, shut up." Dean stares at Cas' flickering eyes, and then at his lips. For days, he's been thinking about those lips pressed against his while he runs his hands through his messy hair. Dean softly touches Cas' hand, the boy gives Dean a tender but surprised as he feels Dean's soft fingers running over his. They forget about the drinks, the drugs and the party. They forget about everything as they lips press against each other. Cas groans a little when Dean deepens the kiss, their tongues meet and everything around them fades away. Dean cradles Cas' face with his hand as the kiss continues. "Dean..." Cas mumbles as he softly pulls away. He might be high, but his mind is still sharp enough to realize that nothing good will come out of it. It's all so overwhelming and he doesn't know what to do. Should he leave, kiss him back again or just shut up?

"Shit," Dean looks around, hoping that nobody saw what just happened, but almost everyone's inside the house and it's too dark to even see what's going on right now. "I'm sorry, this never happened, understood? Seriously, if you tell anyone-"

"I won't. I'm... I. I'm sorry too." Cas stumbles, but he doesn't know if he means it. After all, it wasn't like he didn't enjoy it.

"I'm drunk, you're high and we got carried away." Dean tries to explain himself, coming up with excuses when in reality, there was no explanation for what just happened. Dean feels extremely attracted to Cas, even though he's a like a stranger to him, and saying these things hurts his heart, but he really can't have anyone find out about it.

"Yeah." Castiel says, trying to sound agreeing. He doesn't want anyone to find out, but Cas is seriously crushing on Dean. He wants to cry, maybe because of the drugs, maybe because Dean Winchester just full-on kissed him and went in denial straight after it happened.

"Let's get out of here, I'll get you home."
