It was the morning of the wedding and it was the most exciting and nerve racking day of my life. Nothing could put me in a bad mood that day. I was so happy when John agreed not to invite mummy when I told him that she was very homophobic and would just ruin our special day.

As I showered, brushed my hair, brushed my teeth and then dressed myself in my professionally tailored suit all I could think was what is John doing right now? John was the only thing on my mind and I couldn't pull myself from thinking of him.

"Sherlock?" Greg shouted pulling me from my thoughts. "Sherlock? It's Greg, are you ready to go? You don't want to keep John waiting" he continued.

"Yes Graham I'm coming" I replied.

"IT'S GREG!!"

"Today is not the day to remind me Lastrade, you may be married to my brother but I don't really care for useless information such as names"

"Alright whatever lets go"

I walked out the front door of 221B Baker Street for the last time as an unmarried man. I couldn't wait to get back and celebrate with my amazingly handsome husband. Just as we stepped out the door, a shiny black town car pulled up. One of Mycroft's cars.

After a quick 20 minute drive through London we arrived at the church that John and I had carefully selected. Wow it's stunning! John and I had visited many time before but I could never grow tired of such a beautiful sight.

Greg walked me inside so he could add the finishing touches to my suit, I waited very impatiently at the alter but it was all worth it to see my very unbelievably beautiful husband-to-be walk down the isle. It took every drop of my effort to keep the tears from spilling out of my eyes. He is so effortlessly gorgeous.
