Eren's POV
My alarm began blaring the song We Will Rock You, into my ears way too early in the morning, braking the sweet darkness that gave joyful bliss of not having to think. I propped myself up on my elbows and slammed my palm against the stupid black box, shutting it up. God I hate Tuesday. I groaned and let my face slam into my pillow. In my opinion Tuesday was worse than Monday, all the energy you stored over the weekend was gone leaving the depths of despair to sink in.
"Eren!" My sister Mikasa yelled up the stairs. "Get up now or you'll be late!"Three, two... I counted before pointing at the door just as it swung open to reveal a frustrated girl with short black hair and a glare that could kill. "EREN!"
"Mikasa, my alarm went off like three seconds ago, give me a sec to wake up." I complained, not removing my face from my pillow.
"But you won't wake up, you'll just go back to sleep." Mikasa yanked my warm blankets off to expose my skin to the cold morning air.
"What the hell Mikasa!" I yelled as I sat up reaching for my blankets.
"Get up now." Mikasa demanded before leaving the room.
"Stupid Mikasa." I mumbled to myself as I dragged myself out of the comfort of my dearly loved bed. I chose a dark green hoodie and blue jeans to change into before going over to my desk and selecting a navy blue nail polish and painting my nails.
Now I did not identify as a girl, I just like the way my nails looked, but it was a dead give away that I was gay, and although some people were okay with it, a lot of people weren't, so I kind of considered this my war paint. Grabbing my backpack I ran out of the room and down to the kitchen table where Mikasa waited with toast.
"No." She stated upon seeing my nails. "You are not going to school with your nails painted, or do you not remember what happened last time?" She folded her arms across her chest just like mom used to, she was trying to be intimidating, and to the normal person she was, but not to me.
"Mikasa their going to do that anyway so..." I shrugged. "I'm going to be myself."
"Well..." Mikasa sighed heavily, rubbing her temples with her finger in stress. "Fine, but I'll walk you to class to make sure those assholes don't try anything."
"No." I shook my head. "You have that debate for senior class president, you need to practice for that trust me, because with having a gay brother, you're going to need all the help you can get. " I smiled reassuringly and headed out the door. "See ya." I waved and closed the door behind me.
"Eren! I am proud of who you are!" I heard Mikasa yell behind me. I just smiled, she had always made a point of telling me that everyday since I told her I was gay, she was just like that. You know so supportive it might kill you.

I had just grabbed my math books from my locker when I heard them coming down the hallway, Jean and his gang of assholes, and Marko. I carefully placed my math book back into my locker, wanting to prevent it from clattering to the ground like all the previous times.
"Hey gayger." Jean smirked as he leaned against my locker. "Nice nails, did your sister do them for you?"
"Hey Jean." I smiled, trying my best to be the bigger person. "Can we skip the formalities and move on with this? I have a math test." In my opinion Jean kind of looked like a horse with his long face and stuff, but I never said so. Partially because it was rude and partially because I didn't want to know what Jean would do to me if I did say he had a horse face.
"Fine." Jean shrugged and brought back his fist. "Oops!" Jean laughed. Instead of hitting me he shoved me backwards, and I landed on my math book, inside of my locker.
"No wait!" I yelled as Jean slammed the metal door and all the light shut off leaving me in darkness.
"Hey, good luck on that math test Gay Nerd!" Jean shouted, and I could hear their footsteps getting quieter as they left.
"HELP!!" I shouted banging on the metal door. However, despite the clanging that echoed through the now empty hallway, no one heard.
About an hour later the dining of the bell signaled the end of class and I heard a small knock come from the other side of the locker.
"E...Eren." Came a small coconut's voice. "You in there? They did it again didn't they I'm so sorry..."
"Armin! Get me out of here!" I called and placed my hands on the cool metal.
"Right." Armin answered.
I could here the nob turning as Armin put my combination into the locker, he didn't need to ask what it was, this had happened so many times. Finally I was greeted by the sweet sound of a latch opening and light flooding into my locker. My best friend Armin Elert stood before me smiling. He was short, like really short, with a blonde coconut like hair cut .
"Don't tell my sister." I begged as I let him pull me from my locker. I stretched my arms over my head, letting my shoulders crack. Armin cringed at the sound of my cracking, but I just ignored it. "Dude, please she'll freak."
"Eren..." Armin sighed. "This is the third time you've ended up inside of your locker, I just think it might be a good thing if you like...switched schools."
"And then what Armin?" I asked as I grabbed my English books. "Not tell that school I am gay? No, I'm not hiding who I am anymore, it was hard enough coming out the first time, I'm not going through that again."
"I know, and I'm not saying you'd have to hide it, but Jean....I mean today was pretty mild." Armin pointed out, and he was right, Jean normally gave me a black eye at the very least.
"Tsk, I know that, but I'm just going to count my losses, and I'm not telling Mikasa, it'll worry her for no reason." I sighed as Armin and I entered the classroom. I had always loved Mr. Erwin's class, he always kept the window open to let the fresh air in. He claimed it would 'enrich our small minds with imagination of the future.' Or something, I honestly think it's just because he likes the outdoors.
"Excuse me class." Mr. Erwin walked in, but of course no one stopped talking. "Class!" Mr. Erwin yelled, only now earning the attention of the 26 students. "Thank you. As I was saying, we have a new student today." Mr. Erwin faced the door and a gorgeous black haired boy with clear grey eyes walked into the room, he wore a white t-shirt and a black leather jacket, but despite his look, he didn't give off a biker vibe.
"Psst Eren." Armin hissed as he elbowed me in the side. "Stop drooling."
"I'm not." I hissed.
"You were." Armin retorted.
"Shh." I hushed him as the new kid started speaking.
"Hey, I'm Levi Arkermen and I just transferred here from south beach." Levi shrugged and took the empty seat in front of me and to right.
"Wow." I mouthed.
Levi's POV
Great another shitty school. I thought to myself as I entered the stupid school. It was your normal typical High School, sweaty teenagers, stupid bullies, cheerleaders, jocks, nerds, preppy, goths, geeks, and teachers. Probably the only difference from South Beach was the fact no one was cornering me to kick my ass.
"Hey gayger." A really annoying voice called from down the hall. "Nice nails, did your sister do them for you?"
I turned away from my locker and glanced down the hall. About two locker sets down, there was a boy about my age surrounded by a group of boys who did not look like friends, actually one looked like a horse and another, I guess he looked like what Jesus would look like with short hair and freckles. I couldn't see the kid from this far but I could see his nails, they were painted navy blue. I really didn't see what the big deal is, so what if this kid decided to paint his nails? Then it dawned on me, they weren't making fun of him because he painted his nails, they were making fun of him because he was gay.
Damned Shitty Brats. I thought to myself as I grabbed my math textbook and prepared to go introduce horse face to my fists, but I was interrupted by a shitty adult who had a tolerance for the bullying going on down the hall.
"You must be Levi." A tall grey haired woman smiled as she came between me and the kid. "I'm principal Rose. It is so nice to meet you. Come to my office and we'll get your schedual for you, yes?" With that she gestured for me to come with her, giving me little choice but to follow. I stole one last glance behind me, but the assholes and the kid were gone.

English. I looked around for room 217 hoping not to be late. I had never understood the point of having an english class, I mean we all grew up speaking it, so it just seemed like a waste of money to me. I walked down the long hallway lined with green and silver lockers until I reached a door with the numbers 217 on the front. I walked into the class to see everyone already staring at the door. Great the teacher must had told them about me.
"Levi would you like to introduce yourself?" The teacher asked.
I looked away from the class to look at him and....Holy Shit his eyebrows. "Umm sure." I sighed irritated. Then as I turned to look back at the class and my eyes locked with the most beautiful set of blue green eyes ever. He had brown long brown hair that stayed just above the ears and he was tall, he was so hot.
"Umm, Hey, my name is Levi Arkermen, and I just transferred here from South Beach." I said shortly, hardly taking my eyes off the kids beautiful ocean eyes. WOW. Was all I could think.
Eren's POV
Finally, it was the end of the day and I don't think I have ever been happier. All I wanted was to go home, and dive into my blankets. I had just grabbed my bag when I heard a voice that struck terror into my being.
"Yo Gayger." A deep familiar voice said from behind me. I whipped around, holding my books to my chest in fear.
"J...Jean. What are still doing here?" I asked closing my locker behind me before backing up until my back was against the door.
"Well Mr. I Paint My Nails, I let you off easy this morning so I came to finish up." Jean sneered. I couldn't help notice that he had none of his groupies with him, that could only mean one thing, Jean was going to kill me.
"Finish up what exactly?" A totally different voice interrupted. I turned to see the new kid standing there glaring at jean with ice cold eyes. "Because it seems to me like you have no business here unless you're here to hook up with that freckled Jesus, if not move out horse face." He glared.
"Pfft, whatever new kid." Jean shoved me into the locker door and left.
"Thanks." I breathed heavily as i picked my books and bag off the floor. Levi knelt down as wall and handed me the book To Kill A Mockingbird.
"Don't mention it." Levi replied as we both stood up.
I smiled and nodded, before turning around to head towards the doors.
"Wait." Levi called after me.
"Yes?" I asked turning back to the raven haired boy.
"I never caught your name." Levi shrugged.
"Eren Jeager." I smiled and pushed open the doors, and for the first time ever, left school with a smile.
