There was a legend about a land in the Pacific, that land was a place of complete peace and harmony, a place where people desire to be in because of the corruption and injustice present in the planet we call Earth and was a place perfected by time. This is the Land of Cards.
The Land consisted of five different Kingdoms: Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, Spades, and Jokers. Each Kingdom is ruled by four monarchs, The King, Queen, Jack, and Ace. The Kings are responsible for running the kingdoms, The Queens are responsible for taking care of the financial affairs and the 'supernatural uniqueness' of their Kingdoms, The Jacks being their advisors and military strategist and The Aces being their Trump Cards during battle and their identities are kept in secret.
The Jokers, however, don't have those. They only label themselves as Jokers.
Each Kingdom seems to have one eternal season. Hearts, which is situated in the west, experiences eternal Autumn. Diamonds, which is situated in the south, experiences eternal Summer. Clubs, which is situated in the north, experiences eternal Winter. And Spades, which is situated in the east, experiences eternal Spring.
Jokers have all four, as it is in the middle of the four kingdoms.
Everything was well at that time, no problems, no unnecessary arguments, AND absolutely NO war, that is, until a traitorous joker decided to destroy that peace. He injected poison into the meal of the Monarchs, killing them, leaving each and every citizen to blame multiple people of the murder of the Monarchs, battle for just wanting to sit on the throne, AND panic finding the rightful heirs to the thrones. Several years passed with still NO signs of anyone being the rightful heirs, they began to notice that everything was starting to dull in color, every flower wilted, and the magical energy of the Land was starting to fade, causing mass panic and feelings of hopelessness and despair to surface.
Several years later, fog started to cover the Land, leaving it forgotten for hundreds of years, some who remembered that legend set out on journeys to find it, but NONE of them returned. And so, the Legend of the Land of cards still remain to the present day.
Oh how oblivious they are to the actual truth about it....
