Kylie's POV
Hi! I am Kylie and I am 4 years old. I have a best friend named Luke. We have been friends for a long time. I really hope to be friends forever!
" Kylie, come here!" my mom said. I went down to see boxes everywhere. "Mommy, why is there boxes?" I asked. "Kylie I am so sorry but we are moving." She said sadly. " Moving, why we are fine here!" I said. " No we aren't, we just have to leave!" She said. " Does this mean I have to say bye to Luke?" I said sadly. " Yes it does, now go say goodbye." She said not even caring if I was going to cry. I am leaving my friend and I am really sad!
"LUKE!" I said crying. " Kylie why are you crying?" He asked curiously. " I am moving and I don't want to." I said. "WHAT YOUR MOVING!" Luke said. "Yea." I said quietly. " But you can't!" He said. " Why?" I asked. " Because we have been friends since we were 1 and we won't see each other anymore!" He said while his eyes were watery. " I know and that's exactly why I don't want to leave! " I said. " I don't want you to leave...wait....stay there" He said
"Ok...here it's something to remember me." Luke said. Luke gave me a penguin necklace that had our names on it. It was really pretty! "Oh my god...I love it!" I said happily. " I am glad you like it" Luke said smiling.
- MOVING DAY -
Today I am moving and I am sad. " Kylie let's go!" My mom yelled. I went down and saw Luke standing there in a Batman shirt. I was wearing a Batman shirt as well! "Luke I have to go." I said sadly and also quite. " I know but Kylie promise me that we will be Best Friends forever?" Luke asked. " I PROMISE!" I said promising him to be best friends forever. " Come on Kylie!" My mom yelled. " Bye Luke or should I say Lukey." I said hugging him. " Bye Kylie or KyKy bear. " He said. I cried in the hug because I am going to miss him so much. " I will miss you so much Lukey!" I said crying. " I will miss you too KyKy bear." Luke said crying as well.
After the hug I went to the moving truck. When we were leaving I was waving bye to Luke. When we left the neighborhood I grabbed my penguin Necklace and started crying. " I will miss you Lukey." I whispered.
When we got to my new house I got out and was standing there for a while. It felt so weird. Then I realized that my Lukey isn't here.
