"Oh yes, I do remember that. It took you almost the whole day to get up that hill." Astral smiles.

"And its gonna take me all evening." Yuma said confidently

"I don't think that's a good idea." Astral said, his tone sounding slightly worried.

"Don't worry, Astral. I'll be fine." Yuma smiled a brilliant flashing smile, one that was just like the one's when he was younger.

As Yuma continued to drive, the hill was in sight, it somehow wasn't as big as he remembered. The closer they got to the hill was the more Astral could feel it. A very bad feeling coming over him.

"It's not as big as I remembered it, not as steep either."  Yuma said as he begun to walk up it. Astral followed behind slowly, he kept looking around to see If there was any danger but there wasn't Anything. Brushing off the strange feeling Astral hovered behind Yuma, the sun now in the sky and sinking into the horizon. The sky dusted with beautiful yellow, orange fading into a starry deep blue. In the distance the city lights shimmered.

"Wow, it's so much more beautiful than I remembered." Yuma said in awe.

"Yes, very beautiful..."

Sitting down, Yuma leaned on the tree relaxing, this had to be one of the most peaceful times he has ever had. This reminded him of when he'd spend time with Ren and Elisa. He wondered how they were doing now and how much they were enjoying Astral world or if he'd ever see them anytime soon.

His eyes closed.

The world becoming dark and quiet.

Yuma's heart rate slowed as his spirit started to leave him. Astral could sense this and he looked at Yuma, actually becoming pale and his face expression held nothing but horror.

"Yuma...?"

"....Yuma..!?"

"...........Yuma!!"

┅┅┅┅┅┅┅┅┅┅┅┅┅┅┅┅

Just like his vision Astral's voice faded and soon he couldn't hear him or see anything. The world around him was so black.

"huh, where am I?"

Yuma tried waving his hand before his face but he couldn't see anything to how pitch black this world was.

"So this is death...?"

Yuma took a step forward, His foot step making a small tak on the floor that felt like solid concerte. The soft sound echoed before everything fell silent again.

"...I'm alone."

He took another step, slower this time.

"I'm sorry...Astral."

Falling to his knees, he felt as the warm tears erupted from his eyes and quickly dripped onto his hands.

"I really am..."

Astral shook Yuma's cold, lifelness and now stiffening body, His tan skin paling, he was gone and he could do nothing about it.

"Please...not like this!"

The key gently glowed before Astral was sucked back inside. Startled, Astral looked around surroundings. The usual aircraft looking machine was slowly vanishing, while the soft vibrant blue it once had faded into grey until jet black. A single chained door appeared in front of Astral. Now Astral knew he had been here before, this was the place he was before he met Yuma. Why here again? Was it because the owner of the pendant has died? Was the bond broken? Astral eyed the door, he already hated this dark and lonely place. Before he had a mission to carry out, so he was waiting patiently for someone he knew would eventually come, someone he needed to be his dueling partner that could aid him defeat the darkness. And now, what was his purpose back here? His only wish, is to live in peace with his loved ones. But it doesn't look like it was meant to be.
