It started at both of us with somewhat cold dead eyes. But it was alive. One hundred percent alive. I don't know about him, but all I could see was a small outline of it. "It's a dang rat!" My boyfriend said. I stared at it and realized he was right. "Jesse?" I asked kind of scared to talk to him. "What do you want?" He seriously treated me like a piece of crap. "How are we going to get rid of it?" I tried to sound brave but I was really freaking out about the rat and him. "Well, I think we can just go over to it and it'll run away. But it'll stay inside the house. But it'll be gone" I knew he was going to make me go over and get rid of it. But at this point I didn't care. I have no idea why but I didn't care at all.
